'high carb, low protein' Just a quick fyi, you NEED protein to build muscle, even for a vegan, you're not a mutant or superhuman. WOW, Please tell me you guys have John coming back. Dude went completely beast and had nothing left. Talk about 'leaving it all on the field of battle' That was SO intense!!
You need Protein but not 300+ of Gramms, 1.8g per kilo bodyweight is more then enough!!
You need aminos the basic of each protein, protein comes from plants.
VeganDuelist proteins don't come from plants overall, they come from animals. Plants provide you with mainly simple and complex sugars. Which is why Karl said he had a high carb low protein diet.
It was funny how the guy sized him up and poorly judged him based on him having bandages on his knees. The typical behavior of those that have poor judgment. it's not until they see you do the unbelievable with their own eyes that they want to say this and that, but John seems like a cool dude with an old school spiritual vibe. Talks but never talks too much.
I guess he was talking about low protein in comparison to the average workout diet. I think he is eating about 1.5 grams of protein /kg of bodyweight or even a bit more. For a non workout person this is def. not low protein.

Out of all the Strength Wars i found this one to be the closest outcome, this channel never disappoints.
For the non-german viewers who are wondering how these two are doing now: John has become a pretty succesful fitness influencer and a national icon because of his hillarious humor, he is probably the most loved in the german scene. While Karl has basically stopped producing any fitness-related content, he's now one of these "businessmen" who try to sell frivolous online coachings, he has also stated several racist and sexist opinions, as well as conspiracy theories during the Covid pandemic. So in conclusion: One has become the most loved german influencer while the other has become the most hated.
Don't forget that Karl is also a well known scammer, so his shady business coachings aren't even the worst thing, a lot of people got not even a shady coaching in return for their money and that happened to entire start-ups that karl targeted and ripped off so hard that they eventually went bankrupt.
At least he lost all that money over the last years, he can't even pay the a certain service for his own site anymore, so there's now a banner over the entire content on this site that says "if you are they owner and want to unlock this content again, reach out to us and pay your subscription" and you can't see anything else or even click on his shady coachings 😂
