I love how this one really went in depth in terms of how the game is played. meaning describing how OP abilities like rush and reset are and how helpful/necessary they can be in completing a run. You mentioned the frost adventure in this video too! do you think you will do any videos that focus on the other modes like the master guide/walkthrough? I really have enjoyed all of the different campaigns so far.
@gsdadio Super helpful guide. Quick question, are there any guaranteed places to pick up the Tier 5 Intel Weapons? -Tome of Wonder -Wand of Death -Lightning Tome -Great Water Tome I never seem to find these in my end game so I struggle having ALL the tomes for end game.
So those 4 are definitely rare to get. I don’t have data on this but I feel Greater Water Tome is really rare, followed by Tome of Wonder. The other two I see more often. With a single rush weapon on a talent hero and V Tome…that’s usually more than enough. Keep your eye open for Goblin Staff too early game, I seem to get that more than Tome of Wonder

I've had a lot of fun recently going all damage with the Squad and Ubering all of end game instead of just spamming Group Reset + Slow or Rush Rush in the final tower. Personally I wish they kinda nerfed the strategy they are just TOO strong. That and make Hildebrandts harder to get. Too op for their cost and achievable to get early game.

Lots of good info here and your videos helped me get a better grasp of the game, but you’re overlooking a very strong awareness weapon. Royal bow’s group slow down is almost like a group reset, and it also has a single target reset. I paired this weapon on a hunter with the jade charango on a treasure hunter kitted up for talent and a hobo kitted up for strength with the sais and the demon caves and Vexor’s tower were a cake walk. The hunter was so fast he almost always went first and slowed down the entire enemy party, then he and the hobo could reset their fastest characters and my treasure hunter would replenish their focus and we’d have like 3 or 4 turns to just dish out damage before a couple more resets were in order. With 2 focus the resets and party slow downs were over 90% success rate and the talent hero always kept us at full focus. No intelligence needed. Most fights the enemy never got to attack me. I actually got the golden lute and switched out to that with a giant club on my hobo for 1 fight in a demon cave and my treasure hunter nearly got killed, so I switched back to this combo. I did switch to the golden lute on my treasure hunter and the dual hammers on my hobo when I got to Vexor so I could do the splash damage and stun/daze along with hildebrant’s adult beverage for 100% extra damage, and my hunter kept slowing the enemy down and resetting them.
There’s definitely lots of ways to win for sure. The issue is consistency. You are almost guaranteed getting of getting V Tome, it’s a minimum of a 97% chance. The real problem becomes for Hunter is if you don’t get that one weapon, then you don’t have a lot of other great options. Intel just has so much more to offer
Fair enough, and you did rank the Royal Bow as the best awareness weapon, but you didn’t really talk it up much like some of the other weapons with great utility. I do see that awareness weapons in general are lacking in utility, but man. I messed up and took my time after King’s Maze and only spawned two of those fire camp guys and ended up with 3 Glacier Tomes and no V Tome, and the Royal Bow was super OP.
I did a run on Twitch but wasn’t planning on making a guide. Are you wanting to know how to do an infinite run or just far enough to unlock inferno gear?

Can you please talk about every heroes ( and talk about what is best for them: two handed weapons, one handed weapons, skill, team, etc..)
