It's to emphasize the previous bullet which discusses how messy laser printers can be on the inside. They can be _very_ messy on the inside.

I'm confused about something. In this video, Professor Messer doesn't mention anything about the laser printer being the cheapest for the cost per page, but he does mention that the Dot Matrix printer has a very low cost per page. I am also utilizing a book from Exam Cram from David L. Prowse and he mentions that the cost per page on a laser printer is the lowest. Which one has the lowest cost per page? From my research, it seems like the dot matrix has the lowest cost per page, but it's not certain. I am preparing for the A+ exam which I should be taking later this week. I know this matter is probably going to be at most 1 question on the test, if not at all. Just curious as to what is TRULY the lowest in cost per page.

There are so many different types and models of laser printers that the costs per page vary widely. Even with the least expensive laser printer, it would still be very difficult to have a cheaper cost per page than a dot matrix printer.

Professor Messer! I gotta say, I watched all of your videos for the 901 & 902. Thanks for all of that information! It really helped me understand a lot of aspects of a computer. I don't come from a computer background and so there was a huge learning curb. I just hope I can find a job after I get my A+ as it seems very competitive and usually requires experience.
From my research, it seemed that way as well. All of the resources I came across said the Dot Matrix printers are the cheapest by a long shot. Thank you for your input!
