    HYBRID SESSION
    The Observatory Venice Summer School 2023 focuses on how to enhance health security amidst the increasing threats to our health and health systems at both the European and global levels. The School looks at how to strengthen health systems, encompassing both public health and healthcare capacity to effectively combat pandemics and other health security threats. It explores the implications for national health systems of new European and International Legislation and looks at the themes of preparedness, response, and resilience.
    The Webinar will be live-streamed from Palazzo Franchetti in Venice involving School participants, teaching staff, and regional experts. The webinar will commence with an introduction to the School and highlight the key takeaway lessons, followed by a presentation of best practices on health security from the Veneto Region. The webinar will also explore the response strategies from multilateral organizations including senior representatives from the WHO, DG SANTE, HERA, the EU External Service, and the Ministry of Health of Finland.
