Look at the Japanese people, our Asian cousins. Outsiders had also vehemently tried to do to them what they had done to us. But the Japanese fought tirelessly for their sovereignty, exclusivity of their culture and customs and even enforced forced isolation on themselves for so many years, so as not to fall at their feet. If we look at them now, we can see how beautifully they balance their culture with ultra modern science, technology and way of life. They are far more shrewd, sharper and intelligent and well know what's best for them and their people in the long run.

That's not completely true, Japan is a small island country that was shielded mostly because of its geographical position, India too had cultural isolation, anybody who went overseas lost their jati and varna identity and became mleccha but that couldn't stop foreigners from coming in, second during the meiji restoration Japanese government thoroughly westernized the culture and education system while destroying traditional institutions to prepare it for western competition, India too was economically isolated but the economic crash forced us to open the gates to foreign countries otherwise we would collapse
Today most Japanese youngsters yearn for the freedom of the West and the country is facing population collapse.

    1) Relegating Indra to status of demi god.
    2) Not allowing Ashoka to centre India into a single ruler nation and relegating other Kshatriyas to status of noblemen at best.
    3) Not adopting advanced machinery by learning from others and adopting non-violence .
    4) Not allowing people to go overseas and hence not learning about how things work outside India.
    5) Marathas in particular should have centralize administration and taken strict control over peshwas to avoid collapse of empire.

    • @kirchunetwork1986

Agree on all points except (2). The very fact that the Mauryan empire declined is due to Asoka adopted Buddhism. Had he continued to follow Vedic Dharma then his legacy would have survived at least several centuries more.

Marathi empire collapsed due to lack of support from others. It was the last standing empire. In fact the peshwas actually lasted the longest since they centralised administration, yet allowed smaller nobilities to stand on their own.

That third point is very true, as a resident of Chandigarh I have felt that not only the Sikh community but a large portion of Punjabi Non-Sikh community is averagely abrahamised and a major role in that is the fact that Punjab has a lot in common with its Pakistani lineage and ancestry, Punjabis tend to relate more with Pakistanis than rest of the Indians

Sikhs our sword arm? I have studied the castes involved in the Bengal native army - various castes were drawn from Bihar and they were ranked the highest by British even in an unbiased opinion and study - only after 1857 everything changed. @@ItsEskimo There is nothing like "Pardon" after a destructive war between two factions. The army who lost their men, will lose their moral, in that case and revolt against the ruler.
There's only Cease fire or Treaty. And, regarding all these kings and queens of early medieval India, their facts have been either destroyed or highly distorted by invaders. Even in their own accounts and memoirs, they contradict each other on multiple topics.
Like, if you read the accounts of Mamluks and Sultanates, they described India as a rich and beautiful country. On the other hand, Babur (the pathological liar), seems to whine about how bad India was with no ice cream, hot water springs, and continental fruits, how Indian men with dense beard and dark complexion, didn't meet his mongoloid beauty standards. 🤣🤣

These stories of bravery inspires us and makes us naturally patriotic. I wish this tradition of story telling lives on.

Read history not stupid fake stories. It's casteism that weakened india at its core. Maratha came and gave importance to talent and see what they accomplished but educated people like you will still follow casteism and you will not say against the practice. Problem is we have people like you who don't have the guts to actually say against the problem. When people in your own family or relation will do casteism related thing you will say quite. How many in your family have married outside their caste?
Go to a village and experience for once what casteism does or check a newspaper matrimonial section.
Even the reservations are based on % of population eg SC comprise 17% of Indian population and they still get only 15%. Plus Max jobs are available in private with no reservations. So if you are not able to get a good college, then it's your own incompetence.

But we lost to Islam bcos we all failed to understand the ideology. And this has been a common reason not just for the Indians but also for Pre islamic Arabs, Persians, Egyptians, Turkics, Spanish, Iraqis , Syrians, Anotolians etc. And even now that people are not realising the dangerous ideology like islam

All I know was that it was Prithiviraj who defeated Mohammad of Ghor. Here this guy says Naiki devi defeated Mohammad of Ghor. After doing some research on NaikiDevi I came to know from the wikipedia of NaikiDevi that according to Merutunga accounts , let me post the exact words written in the wikipedia of NaikiDevi-" A later account of Merutunga states that Naiki devi took her son Mularaja in her lap and marched at the head of the Chaulukya army and defeated the Ghurid forces at Gāḍarāraghaṭṭa pass and secured for her son title of "vanquisher of the king of Ghazni". However, Ashoke Kumar Majumdar criticised the writing of Merutunga who used mythical stories to fascinate his readers.[7][8] In any case, Merutunga is dismissed as "completely unreliable" by modern scholars .[9][10]". This is what I found. But this guy says NaikiDevi defeated Mohammad Ghori. Ii would be better that he gives proper evidence. If not let him take back his words. It will be good for him and mainly it will be good for the next generation. In anycase present younger generation is smarter than us. They will defenitely google and do research to know the truth. Let TRUTH prevails and It always triumphs.

Putting it bluntly it was utter selfishness of our rulers many of them elevated as avatar of Vishnu. And also total lack of pride as a nation let alone patriotism. Even as late as 1947 quite a few maharajas- Hindus and Muslims didn't want to join the Indian Union and wanted to be independent or join Pakistan. Thanks to Sardar Patel we are a nation now.

I am shudra, what do you need? This video is on India’s history in the context of the entire world, “Godslayer.” Maybe fools like you forget their 194 countries out there. For whatever bias you have, shouldn’t you know this real history? Pakistan will never tell its people this real history, so at least you know it. 😂
Hindu kings (meaning native kings of the time) in India, specifically in the Sindh region (modern day Pakistan), fought for several centuries to resist Arab Muslim invaders.
      • The first major contact between Hindu India and the Arab Muslims was the conquest of Sindh by the Umayyad Caliphate in 711 AD (just 81 years after the Prophet’s death, like Sampath said, Islam spread via sword quickly). This opened the door for further incursions.
      • For the next 500 years, various Hindu kings like Nagabhata I (730 AD), Bappa Rawal (795 AD), Raja Rasal (885 AD) resisted further Arab invasions into India. They fought many battles defending the Sindh and Gujarat regions.
      • The start of the Delhi Sultanate in 1206 AD by Qutb al-Din Aibak marked the end of Hindu rule in North India. By this time, the prolonged wars with the Arabs had weakened the Hindu kingdoms.
      • The Arab invaders were attracted by the wealth of Hindu kingdoms and wanted to expand the Islamic caliphate into India. The Hindu kings fought to defend their territory, wealth and religion.
      • Major battles were fought in Rajasthan, Sindh and Punjab between the 8th to 12th century (if you are Rajasthani, Sindhi, or Punjabi, shouldn’t you know this?). The Arabs did conquer Sindh briefly but were pushed back by Hindu kings.
      • The prolonged wars depleted the resources of Hindu kingdoms, paving the way for the Delhi Sultanate to conquer North India.
So, YES, the Hindu kings fought for nearly 500 years to defend against the Arab invaders and the establishment of a Muslim Caliphate in India. They were eventually defeated, but not before putting up a sustained defense for centuries.
NOW put that in context with all those other countries from Central Asia, Persia, North Africa, etc. that were conquered. In Pakistan, they don’t teach any history before the Delhi Sultanate. And they have completely maligned the name of Raja Dahir with false history. Imagine a people who hate their own native kings. Don’t become like them.

    • @bobchill5402
      @bobchill5402 ปีที่แล้ว +3

500 years of endless battles with the Arab invaders, no peace but just fighting, frequent wars and long-drains, constant raids, battles and sieges happening over vast areas in North and Western India. Kingdoms were in perpetual states of conflict. All that 500 years of history he just said one sentence and that doesn’t even cover it all. You want to just forget all of that? How many died defending their motherland?

Apart from locating, researching and analysing past mistakes, it would be wise to STOP making the mistakes TODAY, in our own contemporary times. We may curse 'divide & rule' as a Colonial malpractice, but we ourselves are indulging in it FULL-TIME, from the running of co-operative housing societies, to cultural and educational institutions and at the top of this shameful pyramid are the
leaders who elect themselves to rule over 'others' and all this so-called changed cannot be imposed on anybody by bribes, threats etc.
but the change must come from WITHIN.
