Such a wonderful tiny world, absolutely great! The combination of rack-and-pinion-incline and tightest curve shouldn't work at all, but it does! Maybe nobody told it that its impossible, so it's just working fine... And all that in HOn! I have HOe (9mm) and it is sometimes a pain in the neck to get it running properly... The scenery is no less impressive and astonishingly the caricature-style vehicles are fitting into it nicely. This is something to watch for hours, just to get all the details.

Thank you for asking but I've never seen them for industrial use other than sight seeing purpose. I only know them that were driven by wire cable on the inclines. So this layout is very special one. (^_^)
@ The reason I ask is because I've been thinking about this for a long time, and also for parking lanes on a narrow track. Because I haven't seen that anywhere, but it would be interesting! Mixed adhesion/cog railways in the city are also something special...
@@55Massy This is of course condensed, but the railroad from Wałbrzych to Kłodzko in Poland might be an inspiration. Including the mines in Sudety mountains.
@@55Massy Wałbrzych was actually OK, it's Kłodzko that suffered a lot. But they are restoring, as well as neighbouring two towns up the river. There was a dam breach, unfortunately. A small dam, but the towns are also small. Anyway, if you'd like to visit, they are certainly waiting and ready ;-)
Tak, na czole lokomotywy jest przedwojenne godło Polski (ściśle rzecz ujmując to, które obowiązywało w latach 1919 - 1927), a pod nim widnieją napisy ,,PKP". To zapewne czyjaś fantazja, ponieważ PKP nigdy takowych lokomotyw nie eksploatowało i też mnie ta makieta dziwi, ale tak jest. Być może to wyraz japońskiej sympatii do Polaków.
Tak, zaprojektowałem i wykonałem lokomotywę oraz umieściłem na niej małą partię z innego modelu detalicznego.(^_^) Yes, I designed and made the locomotive and put the small batch on it from other Austrian retail model.
I've go no idea how you did that. Getting the track to bend that far up is one thing, getting the train to climb an 80% grade or a 100% grade is quite another.
Yes, it was tough to bend them but I did it gently, softly and gradually. As for the climb performance, please check the answer comments to quite a few questions below. Thank you.

機関車の底に磁石がありレール側には鉄板が敷いてあり粘着しつつ、モーターで走ります。磁力は強力で天井でも走ります。以上、種明かしでした、はい。^_^;

it's HOn-6.5mm. The cogway is a gimmick and a maget is used to get adhesion. Thank you.

ありがとうございます。ドイツBUSCH製品の動力ですが、元々とろとろ走るトロッコに特化した製品なのでローギヤードで遅いんです。また安定走行の為にスーパーキャパシタを後付けしてあります。(^_^)

ラックレールなら登れる勾配だと思うけど、勾配がきつすぎてちょっと非現実的っぽいなぁ。レイアウトの出来がいいだけに残念。とはいえ、ラックレールのエントランスがスムーズに行ってるのが凄い。音もリアルだし、技術的には相当高いことをやってるんじゃなかろか。
