Playing with two combat specialist characters can be rough, as you pointed out with their hands getting clogged up with combat cards, but nothing to help with closing locations or defeating barriers. I find playing two characters is a lot more enjoyable with one focused on combat and another on support (especially healing!) Choosing characters who can cover each other's weaknesses helps a lot. Also, I really felt your pain trying to make those checks to close those locations 😭
There are some locations that feel impossible to close based on the characters. But it's still fun to play and try the different characters. I think the best character from that set is Alharzra.
Try using your blessing cards to explore again. This is somewhat of a race. Use your other cards to add dice to checks wherever possible. Thanks for posting this version of PACG!!

Thanks! I was trying to save them for closing locations. I have played the game a lot but it's been awhile and forgot some of the strategies.
