Nice xmas tree! 🎄 I've written out the pattern for myself. I gladly share it with other watchers.
(00:23) Make a slip knot, chain 20
ROW 1: (00:49) Make 1 single crochet in 4th chain from the hook
Repeat [ch 2, skip 3 chs, in next ch make (1 sc, ch 2, 1sc)] *4
ROW 2: (02:00) Turn, slip stich in ch-space, ch 3 (count as double crochet), in same ch-space make 4 dc
Repeat (work in ch-space 5 dc) *4
ROW 3: (03:52) Turn, skip 1 st, 4 sl sts, ch 3, in same ch-space make 1 sc
Repeat [ch 2, in next ch-space make (1 sc, ch 2, 1 sc)] *3
ROW 4: (05:42) Turn, sl st in ch-space, ch 3 (count as dc), in same ch-space make 4 dc
Rep (work in ch-space 5 dc) *3
ROW 5: (07:02) Turn, skip 1 st, 4 sl sts, ch 3, in same ch-space make 1 sc
Rep [ch 2, in next ch-space make (1 sc, ch 2, 1 sc)] *2
ROW 6: (08:24) Turn, sl st in ch-space, ch 3 (count as dc), in same ch-space make 4 dc

Work in ch-space 5 dc
ROW 9: (11:48) Turn, skip 1 st, 4 sl sts, ch 3, in same ch-space make 1 sc
ROW 10: (12:22) Turn, sl st in ch-space, ch 3 (count as dc), in same ch-space make 2 dc
20 ch picot, in same ch-space make 2 dc.
Fasten off, cut the yarn and weave in the ends.
TRUNK
Different colour yarn (brown).
ROW A: (14:12) In ch-space (right from middle of bottom tree) make 1 ch, 2 sc, in next ch-space (middle tree) make 1 sc, in next ch-space make 2 sc
ROW B: (15:23) Turn, ch 1, 5 sc
ROW C: (15:57) Turn, ch 1, 5 sc. Fasten off, cut the yarn and weave in the ends.
BOW
Different colour yarn (red).
(16:48) Make a slip knot, chain 40. Fasten off, cut the ends. Fold/knot a bow. Fasten/sew the bow to the tree.

I'm confused on the first row, after the ch2 is the 1 SC in the same st or beside it?

I followed this tutorial 5 times and it did not work . There are some steps missing from row 2 which means row 3 only has 4 DC clusters instead of 5.

Hello! You can sew the bow or with the glue gun.
