      I’m not at my desk at the moment and I don’t know the floor plan names off the top of my head. The builders here are Tri-Pointe Homes and Toll Brothers. The community is called Woodson’s Reserve.

    Affordable is a subjective term. The average income to purchase these homes has to be at least $120,000 yearly. 😢

      That is true, it is subjective. Compared to other suburbs and comparable homes around the country, these are some of the most affordable areas in Houston. There are other areas around Houston that have homes well into the low $200k’s, however they are not comparable to these homes.

    What does flood insurance run now? I remember that area is flood prone.

      Some of Woodson’s Reserve is in the flood zone and some of it is outside of the flood zone. Insurance has been fluctuating so much but in general, low risk homes are about $500-$1k/year, and high risk can be up to $2k/year.

      The HOA is $1,450/year and the tax rate is 3.18%

      Thanks for the feedback! The smallest floor plan that they build is about 2,279sqft, and the price starts at $430k. The smallest home that they have available right now is 2,972sqft and is listed at $546,722.

      Toll Brothers (the other builder at Woodson’s Reserve) has a smaller one at 2,236sqft and it’s listed at $525,789

      There’s a couple builders in this community (Woodson’s Reserve), they start right around the $500k range.
