I didn't get that far for years. I knew about it and defeated Mewtwo at a friend's house. I never got that far on my own game until recently. Personally, I'd suggest using your own Pokemon, use an Electrode as it out speeds Mewtwo and use Thunder Wave, and lowering accuracy and Defense as much as possible with moves like Flash, and have someone else use Tail Whip. Try using a Pokemon with Ice Beam and hope you freeze it. Since Mewtwo's "weakest" stat is Defense, hit it with someone with a high Attack stat and something that hits hard and is likely to hit, like Body Slam or Mega Punch. You can't really afford to miss anything.

@@loscachos8 Self Destruct or Explosion only work if you've already taken out a decent amount of HP. If not, Mewtwo will rest and not only would he regain his health, if he was paralyzed, he heals that and he gets his high speed back. Self Destruct and Explosion almost never work for me in battles like that so I don't use them.

You can have multiple departments working on newer games that never even interact with each other. Back then, teams were usually very small and everyone was able to be on the same page, plus things like art direction would be handled by just a few people, so there was more consistency to it. Again, all just my own outlook on it.
bruh that sucks, my older brother sold a lot our games. Pokemon stadium and Pokemon stadium 2 got sold to gamestop. Later on my cousin sold my copy of pokemon crystal, sapphire and fire red for some weed.

Back when Amnesia worked like a combination of itself AND Nasty Plot. No wonder Psychic types were so damn oppressive in Gen 1, they're among the fastest mons, have very few weaknesses, AND have an insanely potent buffing move. The attack/defense separation in Gen II was necessary, as was the Physical/Special split in Gen IV.
i prob play crystal next so i can make a team for stadium 2. Tbh i am kinda beating every single gen 1 game. I only have like pokemon snap, puzzle league , pinball, and hey you pikachu left lol. Maybe i should skip them

What annoys me is that the Nintendo Switch Online version of this game doesn't allow you to use your own Pokemon in this but only rentals. Granted, it could be because of the tech involved, but it would have been nice if they had figured out how to get the original Game Boy games onto the online service or have the Game Boy games part of the Stadium game itself.
