@@Caketinz Apparently they also reduced the points gained per order ... I just got 150 less points in comparison with the previous order, both being same price
@@azevedo1046 This hurts, I thought I was getting 10% off my last order but apparently I only got 5%. And I don't even get my points until the end of August because I had included a preorder. I feel crap that my favourite manga site did this, the prices are still cheap but now other sites will have similar prices overall...
Ughh anyone else having trouble with their card being declined when making a payment?? (I'm in the EU btw) I wish they'd bring Paypal back; that's something I always use! I wanted to place an order before the code drops to 5% but now I seem to not be able to order from them at all :( They couldn't help either, just said the card was declined for an unknown reason but I know there's no problem with my card. And Klarna didn't work either😩
Mine as well! I tried to place a $150 order and it got declined! I tried a couple times with 2 different cards and it still didn't work. I thought it might be because of a card restriction in the US
Why would Scifier stab themselves in the foot like this? Downgrading discount codes and taking away one of the most used forms of online payment?! They have a good thing going for them and all this is going to do is push away long-time customers, particularly those outside of the UK. Honestly, as much as I love Scifier I can't help but think this is an incredibly stupid move on their part. Oh well...they'll figure it out when sales drop off.
Apparently they've grown to a point where its not a very large portion of customers that actually use codes when making purchases. Like less than 20%. So hopefully what is going to happen is the 5% loss for codes will be applied store wide to entice those who find them outside of affiliates. I'm waiting to see that happen before talking about it in a video though
@@Caketinz If it’s actually less then 20% then I guess it makes sense, it sucks, but I suppose we’ll just have to wait and see what Scifier’s game plan is. If they do use it to offset cost store wide then it’s a win/win. It’s more so the double hit of taking paypal down as well that concerns me. Paypal is a mixed bag of love/hate with customers but as a business I’d try to have as many payment methods available to increase sales flow. That’s just my opinion though.
Lol the beginning was a waste of time with the lint roller. Hilarious 😂
Its proof I tried 🤣🤣🤣
I counted 26 different volumes of manga and they all look amazing and great reads so going to do a order now
Caketinz I am so jelly
I'm so jelly
Man, sucks that the discount codes will be reduced now ...
🥺

GLORIOUSSSSSS MANGAAAA 🎉🎉🎉
All of it or just one of them in particular? 🤣🤣🤣

I'm not from the UK but 5% isn't worth anything
It is still better than nothing. The prices are still better than most other stores in the UK 😭
@@Caketinz I get that. I wish ours weren't so outrageous. I get excited for free shipping most places.
I'm not from the UK either, and you're right, 5% is really low - especially after taxes are added :( Really sad that they chose to do this.
