NEVER WOULD I MISS 2 WEEKS IN A ROW OF NOT UPLOADING. Omg i missed yall so much. I had a week off for vacation (which i have a heartwarming, beautiful montage to recap it), and now I'm back to hospital/residency life. It was a pretty annoying week, honestly. But i'm trying to just laugh off the pain and smile through the chaos. :-) hehe

Hi Rachel, I am going to be an incoming pre-medical student and I wanted to say that your videos form the beginning till recently have been extremely helpful in showcasing the ups and downs of the journey into medicine. Your words about no matter how hard you fall, you always get up and instilling confidence no matter the circumstances of a situation is truly inspirational. I miss patient so much, as a nurse in a ward I would hang out with patient when collages would sit in the office on Facebook or something, I would always hang out with the patients and they loved it, I would just talk to them, some of them would be weeks or months at the hospital so just making their day a little better was a blessing :)

I am an intern in residency too and there is NO bandwidth at the end of every day to study or even pick up a book or have a medical thought in my brain. The 12-14 hour days 6 days per week is killing me. The struggle is real, but you are doing so amazing Rachel!!!! :)
Just came home from the GP placement / rotation and now have to study for exams 🫣 I‘m so tired and I just wanna rest. So I‘m watching your video while eating so I can remember, I‘m not the only one that has to study after a long day 🥲

You’re not alone RE: studying after a whole day of work. Professional development truly pays off when that little extra bit of grind and grit make you 1% better everyday. I’m taking my DBA and the last thing I want to do when I get home is read case studies of other businesses dysfunction… but future you will thank present-you! Keep your eyes on the prize and nose in the books (or the computer screen). 🤓💪

the stress relief from having a competant OB is unrivaled in womens medicine. Just knowing I can talk to my OB and she's NOT going to dismiss me or call me crazy, she has NO QUALMS about ordering anything i need, its the perfect relationship, I wish she was my GP, and I'm so fuckign sad she isn't. Thank You for ALSO being one of the good ones!!

Hey rachel, I thought I would give you an easy recipe bc your last vlog when you were too tired to eat it made me so sad. I have started to become obsessed with cottage cheese. I mix 1/2 a cup with 2 eggs and then scramble them. You cook it until the water is cooked off and you cant even tell there is cottage cheese in it. It ends up being 26 g of protein. I usually have it on a bagel. Also I feel like you would like ghost pancake batter protein powder, i make overnight oats with it. Anyways, Ive been watching you since 2020 and I am actually writing my last finals next week for my athletic therapy degree. You started me on anki! So thanks for helping me graduate!
