    Glad I wasn't the only one who burned through the RCT2 "real" scenarios. My obsession was X, which took me two decades (and a name change) to finally experience. Thankfully it lived up to the hype.

    I definitely think the helixes and twisted hills are underrated. I found the helixes to have solid force, plus they're sustained, and the twisted hills gave good floater up front for me. Granted, those were warmed up rides

  • @pfirsichdrop

    I liked Goliath way more than I expected. The twisted hills don't do much, but the usual airtimehills are amazing. Out of the three Intamin megas I've done it's the weakest, but it's still one of my favorit Coasters.

  • @willt6970

    Fitting that the clip showing SFNE's Goliath didn't have a train running on it since that was its default state during park hours

  • @maxhagenauer24
    @maxhagenauer24 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Wow, this rode looks seriously like one of the best Intamins to be honest. It looks like a smaller Superman the ride but easily better than Millinium Force. The layout is fantastic, it has the strengle dice with tons of airtime as well as positive Gs. I love that airtime and positive G mix so much. And the fact this isn't even the parks best just shows this is the reason to go here.

    The coaster you compared to Goliath was my 150th coaster and I rode it for the first time less than a week ago. Ride of Steel was great. That first double helix grayed me out on both rides and it was amazing how it handled its pacing. I expect Goliath to be the best "Goliath" and almost as good as coasters such as Mako, and the Intamin Mega-lites. But this review of Goliath has kind of made my expectations go lower.

      I have ridden Goliath myself and I have gone on summer days so it was running very fast
      the drop is REALLY strong the first hill is amazing the helix and stengel dive are great

    I haven't seen Superman the Ride at Six Flags New England have trouble during rainy days with the drive tires struggling to pull the train into the station. The ride usually flies fast into the brake run on a rainy day

    • @CanobieCoaster
      @CanobieCoaster  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The ride will run fast as always in the rain, but if the tires get too slippery the train can get stuck. You'll hear the tires spin, but they can't quite push the train. I've been on the ride when this has occurred.

    Goliath has a great first drop, camelback and stengel dive, the rest is decent at best (the last bunny hills are pretty good). I prefer the first camelback of Goliath to the ones on Geforce and Kondaa but the rest of those two rides are far better than Goliath which is why I prefer them both over Goliath.
