I lived on a ranch in West Texas growing up and we had irrigation ditches where the water ran and we had to start the pipes to the rows of pipes , but once you get it going there’s no more labor until all the “fluid” is on the other side , like in your case of siphoning it to another tape. Must ad, the hotels and beaches in Mauritius are amazing. West side best. Try for a day tour to Paradis hotel and Brabant hotel where the beach is amazing protected by a coral reef, great for your daughter to swim shallow for miles etc. Also La Chaland near the Airport, St Geran, LA Pirogue, Traux Biche, Club Med, and many more....... Just saying

You have just done the practical for an "Ocean Masters" all you now have to do is write the theory exam. You would then be one of the highest "qualified" sailors on TH-cam... Just saying. You can write it in South Africa.

Google them or ask the Royal Cape Yacht Club in Capetown for their contact info. If I find it will send to you. I will also ask them for info for you. Kevin. I have a Canvas Shop in Plettenberg Bay 140km south of JBay.
