So watch out, you're in danger You'd never know it but you know that it's possible Like your name, the way it looks carved into the cover of a telephone book I don't care, I'm never gonna It sounds better when you're high on marijuana Yeah right in my head So watch out, you're in danger You'd never know it but you know that it's possible Like old friends who'd never ask "How can you be happy when you wear all black?" And they care because they wanna It feels weird like a really weird movie All night in my head All night in my head So watch out, you're in danger You'd never know it but you know that it's possible Schley SCHLEY SCHLEYYYY SCHLEYYYYYY
wait why is there so many negative comments on this?? I love this song, it's one of my favorites off Never Hungover Again and I've been listening to them since their self-titled came out and think they're just as great if not better
quite a bit of people are saying that. but i think when you listen to the smiths nothing about this really has the same sound other than maybe guitar tone (in certain parts). johnny marr had a very distinct style of playing and the only song that emulates that style is Heated Swimming Pool. it has jangle-y guitar riffs like the Smiths.
i dig this song, but i do hope that some of the other songs on the album are a bit more furious, or else more intense if in a different emotional aspect too many bands get too average and attribute it to becoming 'better musicians' or 'maturing/expanding' when really they're just out of ideas and so they start sounding like everything else i've got faith in this album tho, it'll be worth at least a few listens
i hate when people respond to anyone who says they don't like new songs as much as old ones with like "they've just matured you're not allowed to compare new things to old things" but i don't think this sounds generic or like they're out of ideas. perhaps not as good as the first album but i think this is still great although it's not as fierce
Pretty late reply to this, but the other guys that replied are wrong. They stated in an interview that Schley is the name of a street by where they're from.
I never understood what drug this song was referencing until I tried meth for the first time. This song brings a new terror for me now haha thank god I never touched it again after a single binge from hell.
This is their new stuff. Stop comparing it to their old stuff. Theyve progressed and gotten more skilled and become more of a unit. Though I will always love the first album the best, this is still very very good.
Of All Things I Will Soon Grow Tired had way more slower/filler songs. This record is them finally coming into their own sound, and in my opinion it sounds brilliant. But if it's not punx enough for you, I understand.
the first and second album is better, i think these songs and album its self is pretty much them changing the sound A LOT!!! Also doesn't help that they are now under a label that has such different music than theirs. Also I think the lead singer is drunk.
I love the fact that this song is only 2 minutes long. They got in and out with the hook and left you wanting way more. Amazing.
That's what I love about this album, the songs are really catchy but short and not repetitive
My friends started playing this song when I walked into a party one night and now it happens every time
u must have good friends w good music taste
what the fuck i wish my friends were cool like that
Jada Robertson same wtf

The prettiest girl told me to listen to these guys and I'm glad I did!!
I've listened to lots of songs from lots of bands through lots of decades. This song really aged well. Can't wait to listen to it 30 years from now !
This song is so good live. 10/10 recommend.
I have never been more pumped for an album in my life
That was just THE most thought provoking music video ever...
Damn this is way better than the demos..
beyond stoked for this album!

short and sweet, i catch myself repeating it
I can't wait for their record release show at the El Rey in LA!!!
+CxsG90 i went to that show :D
This album sooo good even to this day
So watch out, you're in danger
You'd never know it but you know that it's possible
Like your name, the way it looks carved into the cover of a telephone book
I don't care, I'm never gonna
It sounds better when you're high on marijuana
Yeah right in my head
So watch out, you're in danger
You'd never know it but you know that it's possible
Like old friends who'd never ask "How can you be happy when you wear all black?"
And they care because they wanna
It feels weird like a really weird movie
All night in my head
All night in my head
So watch out, you're in danger
You'd never know it but you know that it's possible

This is pretty rad. Looking these guys up for sure.
This song has some real Smiths vibes, love it.
quite a bit of people are saying that. but i think when you listen to the smiths nothing about this really has the same sound other than maybe guitar tone (in certain parts). johnny marr had a very distinct style of playing and the only song that emulates that style is Heated Swimming Pool. it has jangle-y guitar riffs like the Smiths.

i dig this song, but i do hope that some of the other songs on the album are a bit more furious, or else more intense if in a different emotional aspect
too many bands get too average and attribute it to becoming 'better musicians' or 'maturing/expanding' when really they're just out of ideas and so they start sounding like everything else

What's the relevance to Schley?
I was wondering the same.. Plus, It's the wrong pronunciation as well.. hahaha
guys, what does Schley mean?
+Andrew Spencer Pretty sure it's a last name.
+Andrew Spencer my name is ashley & my friends call me shlee. Aschley is one of the handful of ways to spell if
Pretty late reply to this, but the other guys that replied are wrong. They stated in an interview that Schley is the name of a street by where they're from.
Seeing them and Cheap Girls on the same bill later this year.....jeezus
the bassist looks like Allison Weiss in a weird way.
lol i see it :D
***** thank god i wasn't the only one!
yesss biyzzz
Emo revived
And four years later, emo died. Again.
the 6th wave
Saw this band at the Che cafe sometime before you are even knew music was
live version is even better ;0
I never understood what drug this song was referencing until I tried meth for the first time. This song brings a new terror for me now haha thank god I never touched it again after a single binge from hell.
I miss Kurt walcher as the drummer :( Cody just feels empty without him, why did he leave?????? :(
*SCHLEYY*
ok but what is schley
gr8
This album is going to be worlds better than OATIWSGT.
reminds me a little of this charming man by the smiths
my maiden name
barry got better at guitar
kind of came in and came out quickly. It sounds the same through the whole song.
this is one of those songs that they would play in like american eagle or aeropostal/
no...
yes. dumbass its slow shitty music this is what they play.
you have a angry problem haha. slow music is good... beatles? the smiths...

This is their new stuff. Stop comparing it to their old stuff. Theyve progressed and gotten more skilled and become more of a unit. Though I will always love the first album the best, this is still very very good.

I like the song but hate the name
First
SO WATCH OUT
YOU'RE IN DANGER.
It sounds better when you have marijuana!
Wow damn Joyce Manor sounds different as hell. Sounds very "soft" for lack of better term. Extremely lame.
ehh, have you listened to any of their work besides the self-titled?
ONE ALBUM ONE EP HAND FULL OF SHOWS BREAK UP PUNX ROXKS
Of All Things I Will Soon Grow Tired had way more slower/filler songs. This record is them finally coming into their own sound, and in my opinion it sounds brilliant. But if it's not punx enough for you, I understand.
dude listen to victoria or the jerk and come back
this album is kind of dull
gar bage
I'm sorry, but I don't see what the big deal is. This is the second song I've listened to from this band and I find them EXTREMELY boring.
the first and second album is better, i think these songs and album its self is pretty much them changing the sound A LOT!!!
Also doesn't help that they are now under a label that has such different music than theirs.
Also I think the lead singer is drunk.
You don't need to be sorry, it's completely subjective. That being said I love love love this shit..
this band is so meh... way too simple and boring. How did they made it so big??
its all about opinion man.
