Thanks for uploading the video! It was of such great help as I needed to replace the broken SD Card door. Without your video I would have certainly break a fitting, as some of the screws are really well hidden! Thanks once again! 👍
My d5100 has some kind of red-ish stain in the viewfinder (likely caused by moisture), my guess is it's on the pentamirror. Do I have to open the whole camera to clean it? I've tried checking everything I can access without major disassembly (mirror, the filter top of the mirror, and the surface behind it).
HI My D5100, had crash, it has 3 feet fall on wooden floor, Since then Live view screen is dark and the pics are also dark, Lens is fine, View from view finder is good, Display is good, I think the CCD sensor is gone bad or some thing is loose inside with the fall. any suggestions ( I am ok with disassembling mobile phones so I can handle disassembly)
Hi there, Thanks for the video. I was wondering what temperature is your soldering iron is set to, my one goes up to 400C although it won't melt the solder?
Hello. I had a Nikon D5100. When I try to take a picture, the auto focus lens mechanism turns left and right slowly (not normal) to focus an object. I just charge the camera battery pack fully. Could anyone tell me what wrong with that auto focus mechanism? Should I open this camera and apply some (a little) of grease into the mechanism auto focus? Thank you everyone.
Best backing track of an instructional video I have ever heard!
Спасибо товарищ, привет из Бразилии.
SD card latch broken here. Snapped in two. Got a replacement one. This helped clear up how to get access and replace it. Thanks!

Thanks for uploading. You often cover it with your hands the disassembly, maybee you sould change the camera angle.

Switch on live view, take out the lens and see if the CCD is covered by a damaged shutter.
@@KonstantinSachkov As soon as I turn to remove lens, LV mode is turning off, same happens when I turn off the camera.

It depends on soldering iron power and quality (and price). 250-300°C is enough for most cases.

Check and clean lens-camera contacts firstly. Then check camera with another lens.

Hello ji
quite an adventure :))
These need to be edited. Long video for little use. And you never show how you actually fix anything.
