i think people are misunderstanding what Nintendo is all about ... it's about their fun and original games. Nintendo Switch was weak, hardware-wise, from the first day it came out. Like it was comparable to some smartphones out there .. but their inventiveness and original games are great and exclusive. So if you buy Nintendo to play some latest games like eleden ring and such then you'd be an absolute moron to buy Nintendo, .. like just go and get yourself a good PC. But if you want to play some light games, some party, co-op games, on a light, portable device, then it doesn't get much better than nintendo.
I bought one today. So far it’s amazing. Zelda Botw is actually pretty fun. I will buy the rest once I’m done with that. And yes, I know the switch 2 comes soon but I don’t care. And with taxes it’s gonna be expensive af where I live.
My oled comes in today, purchased the splatoon edition but the switch 2 won’t be oled, this has a great battery, and I want to play games with my family and from my childhood. I’m gonna get the switch 2, but I want to give it a year for them to review it and fix any bugs so for sure I’m going to get a year out of it and then keep it to see if it has value later on. Nothing wrong with just getting a switch in my opinion.
should i get a switch lite or the oled? I will be going out of country for university and won't have a tv. however i still wanted to be able to connect to tv when im back home and wanted to be able to play co op. If i get the oled, i will only be able to afford one game for now. and with the lite i can get 3. Also switch 2 in my country release price will be exorbitant so waiting for its release will leave me waiting another few years till the price go down.
@@DanVR0 switch 2 would be ×1.5 rupee max I bought the oled though I prefer nintendo for one game only and that is "1-2 switch" , so i have no reasons to upgrade to switch 2 (when it comes) .

I got the Zelda Special Edition OLED. Best purchase ever. I recommend getting "Hori Split Pad Pro" Joycons if you like playing handheld.

Get the oled, or wait a few months for Switch 2. I have the oled, it’s great!
Both are good, but tbh I've been having much more fun with my switch oled than my lite but that might just be because I like using it with a TV

@@nyxcal it’s been 7 years and every 6 years, Nintendo released a console. it’s a high chance that the switch 2 will come. plus ai shark confirmed it.
