    I’ve been loving my j2k 14mm for the all court vibe while still having good hand speed, but the dwell time of the j2ti is something i can see enhancing all aspects of my game. Excited for this paddle!

    I just got this paddle today and I play with the Ruby usually. Let me just say, this is my go to paddle already. I've never been more comfortable immediately after switching paddles. I will note I am used to a muted paddle that pockets the ball so if you play with a power or poppy paddle it may feel too soft but for me it is PERFECT!

    • @MatthewKPickleball
      @MatthewKPickleball  หลายเดือนก่อน

      That’s awesome! Which do you think pockets the ball longer on soft hits/dinks? The Ruby or the J2Ti?

    Thanks for the review! I loved the feel and playability of the Shogun, which was my introduction to the Titanium feel, but the SW was too high for me. Since then, I've moved to the Neonic Flare Ti, which is my current main. Again, love the Titanium feel and playability. After your review of the J2Ti, I'm now looking forward to giving it a try!

    Great video. I've been playing for about 3 months and started with a Vatic Pro Prism Flash. I'm looking to upgrade and was already leaning toward the J2K. Now I'll have to consider the Ti as well. Thanks for the info

    • @MatthewKPickleball
      @MatthewKPickleball  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Coming from the Prism, I would highly recommend the Ti. That will be the easiest transition IMO.

      @@MatthewKPickleball Awesome, thanks for the feedback!

    • @MatthewKPickleball
      @MatthewKPickleball  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@spola33 No prob! I'd say stick with the hybrid shape. And if you're worried, just try someone's Gen 2 paddle and if you see yourself popping up a lot and are stressed, look at Honolulu's J3 paddle instead. That's just about the most forgiving Gen 2 paddle around and would be a very easy transition. But the Ti is something that might make sense more as a progression since you've been playing with a similar shape already. And it's a paddle you could really grow with it. But here's my J3 vid in case it's helpful: th-cam.com/video/vSQCOOX2NNE/w-d-xo.htmlsi=im1aLMPyuUiwKaOc

I’m really curious about the “titanium” surface with the bit of extra control that you say it gives. As you say, it may help on those days when I’m tired and my drops and dinks get more unwieldy.

    Great video! I too bought the Ruby based on the reviews that it was "plush", but it was anything but. Nice paddle, but very stiff off the face. I'm really looking forward to getting the J2Ti as everyone says it has that high dwell time. The original paddle that defiened dwell time was the original Joola Hyperion. But, it's so heavy, that these newer and lighter paddles are better for overall play. Hopefully the J2Ti can combine the best of both worlds.

    Having tried the 14mm J2k this feels like the perfect in-between in terms of what I actually want from the paddle, super interested if they end up going for a 14mm version of the J2ti could see it either being surprisingly good if it can take advantage of the weave or a bit pointless if it loses some of the ti benefits.
