Near Vespa Sprint 150 crash caught on video in Williamsburg, Brooklyn NY

Was on my Vespa 150 Sprint visiting a friend in Greenpoint Brooklyn, NY on Sunday 8/28/22, traveling along Vandervoort Ave and almost had a near crash. I was in the middle of my lane when a National Grid truck up ahead was waiting to make a left turn in the lane left of me. Suddenly a Nissan minivan in the same lane as the National Grid Truck, rather than wait for me to pass, turns into my lane without warning. I couldn't move to the right because the road was damaged. I kept calm as was able to swerve just in time avoiding an accident. Kind of a scary situation, Be very careful when riding a scooter or motorcycle. Cars don't treat us riders with too much respect. Safe riding everyone.
