Another great one mate. And good times seeing you again at the rally. Congrats with the award, I might had a little to do with that 😘 Ive tried my rollersack both on my S2 and my GP, the fit is sligthly better on the S2. 👍
€220😮. Think you’ve been sent one for free there Rob. £70 for throw over side panniers seems a bit more reasonable. Love the videos. Keep em coming pal
Nope. Paid for out of my own pocket. If you are going to compare the roller sack to panniers, then we would have to buy robust and waterproof ones. Go have a look at how much mosko moto and kriega cost. You aren't comparing apples to apples. Not only are the materials much more robust, these are hand made in Europe.
Hi Rob, question for you hope you can answer. Back in the late 60's early 70's I had a SX200, of course back then, with all the mirrors that we had on in the UK. Anyway after a while I got fed up with it so choose to ditch the mirrrors and tune it up a bit. so I got a spare 200cc barrel and had it bored to 225, and I rebuilt it with a new piston etc fitted an Amal Carb (cannot remember the size but i think around 24 or 28mm). an uprated clutch and I came across a set of GT200 gears which I fitted. now to me it seemed an improvement over the SX 200 gears that I was running before I got the GT gears. The question I have always wondered were the GT gears any better than the standard SX200 gears, I know it's too late to do anything about it as I sold around 1973 to buy my first car, it's just I thought the keeps coming back to me. Cheers
TV200: Though each gear is fairly evenly spaced, its final drive in fourth gear of 4.46 makes it almost unusable except in the case of very high powered engines. SX200/TV175: Using the standard 15/46 combination it gives you a 4.80 final drive so it is good for a lot of engines.
@@kickbackgarage Thanks Rob I don't have the scooter anymore, I don't think it even exists now as the chap who bought it off me, I was told came off it twice in a week and looking on the DVLA website the reg does not come up. Back in the late 60's of course we didn't have the internet to find things out, it was all done by word of mouth or trial and error. the GT gears seemed ok to me and as I never tried it flat out in 4th it was a good cruising gear. Cheers mate
I'm going to take a guess that it is late in the evening over there and that the days must be very long indeed making long scooter rides a little easier than having to ride on through the night. Lovely weather you're having, too. Oh, I was wrong, it must be morning judging by the movement of the sunshine. :) I load my scooter with my tool roll, tent and bedroll on the back and then I use a Cupinni front rack to carry my sleeping bag which is synthetic so doesn't pack down. As soon as I'm at my destination the rack comes off and goes in my tent. Everything else goes in my backpack which can get pretty heavy. I think I could make good use of the roller sack. Then I could leave my backpack at home. The only downside I can see is rain and not being able to make use of the weather protection of the legshield. Not something we worry much about that in Southern California. 😄
Hi Rob , new to lambrettas. Found your channel, and I love it . Daft question how do I know if my lambretta li 150 1961. Is 6v or 12v. Keep up the great work . Cheers David
Hi Rob, Nice to see the feedback on the bag. Just in intrest do you use a airhawk, or another make called Tourtec seat cushion for comfort on long journeys or are you in the iron arse club 😂😂 Maybe good to do a video if you do use either. I use Airhawk, but Tourtecs are cheaper around £25 and can find on fleabay, compared to £130 for a Airhawk.
If you ever go scuba diving or snorkeling you'll learn how to keep your googles clear underwater...tip trick also for GoPro for keeping lens clear in rain!
Hey man! Love your videos! I have learned so much from watching them. Your videos helped me get my non running broken 150 servetta lambretta to fixed and running. However, I have a question because I am stumped... It runs, however it ends up stalling. It will start up every time but then stalls... I am wondering, What would your thoughts be on trouble shooting this? I have run out of ideas. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Cheers!
Great info as usual. Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to your next build.
Nice set up!
Good bit of kid, great vid. Glad you got back safe Rob 👍👍
Obviously the complainers haven't seen a small engineering company before, keep it going as is Dom, its great stuff

As a point of interest. This video was shot at 21.00. 🙂
@@kickbackgarage My first guess was correct. Summers must be wonderful there with those super long days!😃

6v system will run on points, you can check your flywheel. If you have a CDI, then it's running 12v.
@kickbackgarage cheers Rob, keep up the good work.

I think I have an iron bum, so no airhalk. I never really ride more than 100 to 140km before I tank and stretch my legs in one stint.
