🇺🇸 Hi everyone I hope you enjoyed the final 4K walkaround from Mexico! I loved the dancing! Santa Maria la Ribera is definitely an underrated area of CDMX! In the subtitles, the word 'foreign' kept appearing about 30 times; I think I deleted them all LOL. The next video is the FINAL MEXICO VIDEO (a regular one) which hopefully sums up my entire time in Mexico in one video! I also filmed scenes which will actually appear in my final overall video in November. Yes, Mexico will have a cameo return!

Hola David little by little I'm wrapping around your video library which is so huge not sure how many more will be left (at times I'm video binging) yet but I'm still enjoying it, it's no a race or competition but surely I'm liking video after video to see my city in the distance through your eyes, it's quite refreshing take, take good care my friend, enjoy wherever you're right now and yes, see you soon in another video!
28:22 "nada más que no puede grabar caballero, caballero" (just you can't do video recording gentleman, gentleman!) and caballero David just like Juan in his house 😂 (like we say in Mexico when you've being very casual and familiar with place or situation)

I loved this video! The neighborhood is amazing. The dancing, old beautiful buildings, parks, so many trees. Ahhhh I so enjoyed imagining myself being there. One of the best, if not the best neighborhoods I’ve seen in a video of CDMX. Thank you so much for showing us this wonderful area of the city! ❤️

I'm sad your México adventure came to and end, but very happy for you and what comes ahead! This video and the end at such an iconic library really portrayed the city from the traditional to the futuristic mix and in between! Hasta pronto and looking forward to what's coming next for you!✌

Really liked the Santa Maria neighborhood. Had never heard of it. Loved the variety of architecture/ facades of houses. That yellow house with blue windows, unique! By far, loved the kiosko.

I love this neighborhood. It’s 100 times better than Roma/Condesa. I remember the classic Mexican cantinas and a Russian restaurant, all these made this place very eclectic. Top video, David!

That final scene in the library speaks volumes about Mexico City being one of the most astonishing metropolises in the world. Yet, I think it's one of the most overlooked major places to visit anywhere due to concerns about violence in Mexico. I wish more people understood that Mexico is very safe for anyone that stays away from illegal activity.

Great video my man ! I grew up in that area back in the 60’s.
Another area that you can go and film is on the outskirts of Mexico City. One place in particular: Tlalnepantla de Baz. You’ll like that area. Then another one that is pretty is Ciudad Satélite.
God bless you and be safe.

This was a great walkabout David...we have not been up to the DF in a couple of years, but plan on going soon. Thanks for showing us these lesser known areas that aren't swarming with ex-pats. These old buildings in Mexico City just make my heart sing. Our time is usually spent around the Zocalo as we have oddball shopping to do and a house to get back to. All the best to you in your new adventures, I enjoyed our little chit chats over the last few years, and take good care of yourself. Un abrazo.

I like what you say about not going to CDMX for a few years! In the video after this I went to the Zocalo for the first time in years! It's like CDMX? Nope we don't need to be there all the time. Like you said in your other comment, there are plenty of places on the map!

Bravo! Another nice neighborhood. At around 13.00 when we saw the gato cafe I looked up your video with the cat cafe in Japan.
Merry Christmas! I like the music you play in your Mexico videos but I also like Japanese Jingle Bells. You look the same. I am opposed to killing James Bond, but Japan and Mexico are about so much more. The cat cafe was a feline cocktail bar - good geisha training but I never read the novel.
Did you believe in Jesus in Japan and let the pretty churches in Mexico let you forget? You say maybe fewer videos in Europe - James Bond may or may not have died - but I hope to hear a video from Serbia or Poland with Jingle Bells and photos with some kind of Santa.
Such a pretty geology building you appreciated...Mexicans know a few things about minerals.
You and I are iconic! Not idols. Your Polish cat won't be an icon but it might be the breath of an angel, and to breathe angel air is a beginning - no end.
Dios mio! The national library is beautiful and has rectangular places for books. How could the dispensation of knowledge complain about a film? But I'm not sure it has actual reading in mind. Like Torreon we got to think about actually living...I hope you - like Emily Dickinson's robin - row yourself softer home with Jingle Bells on your tongue and the Trinity in your heart. It's a grand step to see love is the answer. Harder to see the way home.

Was in la Santa María la Ribera three weeks ago. Again. When visiting CDMX I was always make a point of going there at least once.
Having said that, I think I would prefer Col. San Rafael, its neighbor to the south.

Rude Mexi criminals at 8:10 telling you not to record. They must be doing something illegal because in other countries recording is perfectly OK. (Unless you are in North Korea)

wow! Open your mind and heart. You must be from the USA (not to say all are like this person) to be composing such a judgmental comment full of such fear and ignorance. Step outside of that cage you live in.

It's pretty common practice for people in Mexico to ask you not to record or photograph.

that's exactly why I rarely include other people in videos as 99% do not want to be filmed, fair enough though!
