I had 4 kids under 6.5 please please please enjoy every single moment with your children and absorb everything you can because before you know it, they are getting older and married. My point, I was so busy trying to manage working a full-time job and being a full-time mom of 4 I did not get to enjoy them as much as I should have, but most importantly I have no memory of it all because I was too busy running around and only by some pictures and videos, I was fortunately able to take. Do not wrap yourself up in work please focus on every single second you can.
I appreciated that outlook - "one day you'll get to sleep in and wake up to quiet" - I need to remind myself of this on days when I'm frustrated the kids didn't let me sleep. Time with them is so precious ... I don't want to miss it!
Shawn & Andrew, You are an incredible, loving & loyal pair I truly admire. As a grown woman I follow you & admire you both. Please, please, please don't put more pressure on yourselves to "grow" your family. You're blessed with 3 beautiful children. A couple CAN be happily married for a lifetime with a large family but there are also many challenges that come with it. Babies ARE honestly the easiest, even at the time you don't think so. There's not always harmony thruout your lifetime with you & your kids...or between your kids. If you take input from a 66 mom & grandma, love & enjoy your 3. It's alot. That said, just enjoy the fun, crazy, tears, loving journey AND find time for each other.
I think what I love most about your family is how it's a faith based home that you are so proud of and willing to share! Children learn what they live and your kid's live patience kindness understanding compassion and a love for more than just themselves! Thank you thank you keep it coming!
People teach that without faith too. Im christian But many of the most egoistic people ive met go to Church and are catholics or protestants. Also, lived with nuns and they were really not caring for the poor at all.
My last two kids are getting ready to leave for college in a few months. For the first time in 30 years, I am going to have a quiet house. Many people say they cannot wait, but I am dreading the quiet. No more sports games, no long weekends to tournaments, no checking the fridge and cabinets for food right after the grocery store, ( they both have worked with me since age 13), no funny car rides to work or long conversations about life…. Just quiet. So for those of you who are in the beginning stages, cherish every minute… every car ride, every crazy morning, every late night and when they are sick, every minute spent cheering and spending money for their activities, their noisy thoughts and attitudes, enjoy all of it. Because one day, You will have quiet. But make sure that quiet is full of joyful memories you have made with your kids.
So so true...I'm 45 and a mother to 4 gorgeous amazing kids, well adults now but will always be my babies. I miss the days you are experiencing now more than anything and would give the world to have them back. Enjoy, live, love and make beautiful, magical memories while you can. I know at times it feels like you don't have a second to breathe and that's when you need to make that time for yourself to recharge and get back to being the best parents you can. Love your family, truly blessed to be part of your journey. God Bless you all xxxx ❤
The days are long but the years are short. This turned out to be more true than I imagined it'd be. One day you turn around and they're graduating and leaving home.
You both are awesome. What a great example of parenting. So real. May God bless you and give you what you need each day to accomplish what you set your hands to. ❤
Love you guys! Have been keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers with finding your new normal after having sweet Bear join your 2 “Bigs” ♥️ Love Love Love Steven Miller and the Miller Fam!!! Have been following their journey since they started on TH-cam. Just like your sweet family… so wholesome, faith based content that just makes you feel good and want more! Love your channel and your pod cast!! ♥️🙏🏻♥️
The difference is you both have the hard earned wealth to make it easier. Not so much with a family in a small home where both parents work and have to pay for daycare. You are absolutely blessed.
I have to agree. I had to wake at 3 am to do homework while my kids slept. Work 2 jobs to afford child care while I attended classes to get a 4 yr degree into 2 years. Childhood goes so fast when you don’t have resources.
Everyone will never have the same things (or life) as others. I would love to live on the beach but will never be able to afford it. I don't begrudge the person that can tho. Life's not fair and it's not equal.
Yes, they have a privileged life. I was a single mom of 5 who earned a degree while raising the first 3. I worked extremely hard to provide a good life for them. However I'm happy for people who have things a bit easier.
A video I saw pointed out messy floors with toys strewn all over, you know, toddler life. The part that made me reflect is it said “This mess is someone’s childhood” - humbled me for sure ❤ Thank you both for sharing your stories of parenting!
I’m 55 now and I wake up to quiet every morning. I miss my babies being little. I had two boys and a girl. Now I have three grand children, two girls and one boy…so far. But y’all are truly living the best days of your lives, but I believe y’all know that. Stay strong in the Lord, tho….He will be with y’all every step of the way. He surely has been for me. I wake up to quiet but with a praise on my heart. It’s just a different season of life. 😊❤
Enjoy these moments know matter how stressful. It goes by like a flash of lightning. Yes, you will experience your life again, yes you will be sad. But,still such an amazing experience ❤❤❤❤❤
When you were pregnant with Jett , you had that artist draw a picture of what a boy might look like. Just wondering if that drawing looked like either or both of your boys. Keep on being happy and healthy :)
I love how you guys are so positive and childlike with your kids. Creating so many amazing memories and setting such a great example for parents of young kids!! They grow up fast! Bravo for embracing it! ❤💯
You guys are inspirational! I look up to you both so much! You guys have the perfect balance of putting each other first as well as giving your everything to your kids. I aspire to be a more caring and kind spouse and mothers thanks to your guys examples. The kids are beyond cute and getting so big!!🥰
I’m a empty nester & it’s been one of the most difficult transition. Once the kiddos hit high school my mantra… the chaos will pass and I’ll miss every moment full of these amazing memories. You two are doing an amazing job. ❤❤❤❤❤
Soooo, the quiet can be sad... but then there are the grandkiddos that come along with all kinds of noise that you didn’t used to tolerate. But then they go home. They leave you with a bemused smile on your face and a big sigh of a mix of relief & regret. You also have the added joy of laughing at your child when their child pulls the same stunt that they did!!!😂😂😂 (To which I have apologized to my daughter-in-luv for more than once over the last 8 years!)😊
I love watching your children grow it's been an awesome video and Sean I've been following you since you were in the Olympics it's been an amazing journey watching you grow God bless you all and have a wonderful day
My oldest is going to HS next year and my youngest is going to middle school. It will be the first time they are not in the same school, that we absolutely love. No more chaperoning field trips, Mother’s Day brunches, holiday feasts, helping in the classroom. I’m going on my final chaperoned field trip with my youngest next week, it’s so bittersweet! I met some of my closest friends at our school and I cannot imagine life without them. They are my family’s village. Get yourself an awesome village and your kids will absolutely thrive!
And to your epiphany of someday sleeping in, waking up to quiet and being sad, I highly recommend taking in exchange students!!! It's the most rewarding experience ever. And you end up falling in love with them as much as your own kids and connected to them for life!! Lifechanging to us EQUALLY as much as for them!! ❤❤❤❤ Italy 🇮🇹 France 🇫🇷 Brazil 🇧🇷 currently with us Spain 🇪🇸 currently with us Sisters for life! WE LOVE THEM ALL!

What in the world happened to all the old videos??! 😟 I found your guys' channel and I started watching from your first video working my way to present day. I made it to the end of your first pregnancy.....and now they're all gone??!! I'm sad
Even grandma can have empty nest grief. Especially if you went from last child to having grandchildren with you daily. Then late empty nest. It hurts. Hard to find your own path, but doable
Will you do an explanation of who the 12 are? I’m so curious to know about your team ☺️ Can’t wait to hear more about the book, I have always thought after Shawn‘s winning balance book you needed more books
And my living room looks like a toy box upchucked all the time! except at night while we are asleep. 😂 I’m like why do I even pick it up? 🤷🏼♀️😅 they have fun playing so who am I to tell them not to play and makes a toy mess. 😊❤
Can't wait to hear the big news with Steven Miller cause literally 3 days ago I was thinking about him and his family and I said to myself, now that his doing what his doing now...won't it would be great if he also did something with you guys.
Are your kids in daycare 8 hours a day or just preschool 3-4 hours a day? I am confused about the school part..? 😂 I have a two year old and I don't know what you mean by school?
Are you going to Mexico for a missions trip again? I would love to join you. I have been on Missions Trips before and been the Organizations Leader/Guide for ZOE International taking teams to Thailand. I would love to help with this if you have a need.
I totally get it! When our third (a boy) was born--we had a daughter who was 2.5 months short of her 4th bday and a son who was 2 months from his second birthday. 😅 My husband traveled a bit for his job-- so daily devotions were done at 4 am during baby breast feeding. He burped baby & cuddled while I finished pumping and made breakfast. Baby went down, we ate breakfast together and hubby left for trip or work. Thank God I was formerly a teacher. The day was a juggling act of cuddling, reading, games and napping "turns" for each one. Everyone had 30 minute quiet time at 4 pm. Where I took 30 minutes to chop, slice, boil/cook: aka prep dinner. Hubby was home about 5:00 pm for a "hand off," while dinner was magically cooked and presented beautifully on white Corelle dishes. Hubby did dishes (thankfully,😂 I am a clean cook) I bathed three cherubs, pj's on and meet in bedrm for storytime, prayers and off to bed by 8 pm. Then we showered, collapsed next to each other on the couch, talked, said our prayers & went to bed.

This is so true - "The days go by so slowly but the years go by so quickly"
This saying brings brings tears to my eyes every time I say it.
The days are long but the years are short. Pray. Be still. Breathe. Survive. Repeat. ❤

Absolutely 😊❤
Just an all around amazing & inspiring family. I love how much Andrew loves being a dad & I love the way y’all lift each other up. Goals ❤️
It’s so nice to see that your family balances everything together and not one person is left to do everything…like it usually is in some households.
Love your family! I don’t know how you have time for all of this but you’re an inspiration! 🎉❤️
Goodness... I wish our family time could look like this too. Thank you for giving us a look into your lives ♡
You both are glowing ❤ beautiful family
you guys just reflect such a peace!! and I love this!! you make parenting look so fun!!
Work, family, life. That sounds like you have a wonderful “balance”. Life is busy with littles, so all you can do is embrace it❤️
These are your best videos by far!! We want to see day to day because that’s what we relate to.
A ridged schedule is actually best for the kids! Gives them a sense of security.. y’all are amazing!
cool ridge mountains or fridge, both rigid in their ridge
I do miss those days! But so glad I got through it. My oldest grandson is now in the Navy. It’s so hard to believe how fast he grew up!
❤❤❤ you all!!! Thanks for sharing! Take good care. ❤❤❤

Loved this video!! 🥰🥰🥰 Shawn where did you get your rocker from that Bear is using on the kitchen table ? Love that idea 💙
i love how Bear looks like both of the Bigs, combined. Very cute
A beautiful life well lived, love your videos 💕
It's a wonderful Life...isn't it! ❤❤❤
You guys are entertaining 😊
Thanks for sharing with us ❤
I wish it was an actual day in the life, not just you sitting at the table telling us what it’s like
Love you fam so much!!
I have 3 teenagers, work full time, & am in seminary full time- my pace is still pretty much same as yours! 😂 It doesnt matter how old the kids get!
Oh my gosh, my toddlers call it “getting my zoomies out” every night right before bed LOL!! They do the exact same thing! So funny to watch!
Another Shout Out with the EastFam ❤😂❤😂😂🎉
Beautiful Couple..Beautiful Family❤
Bear is beautiful. You guys are great ❤❤
All that matters is if you and your family are doing well-sounds like you are. Some embrace the silver fox, but if you find yourself wanting to do a simple regenerative thing, Andrew, you can check out wearing an x39 light patch that stimulates a peptide that is good for hair and pigmentation, along with other stuff. Anyway, my hair is less ashy- growing in richer. For some people it reverses grays. Take care :)
God bless you guys!
✌️😍🤗THANKS, for always brightening my day and making my life so much more the better. Non-stop smile having you all in my life. So thankful for your family! Thanks for blessing this world too 😍✌️🤗
I sleep in, wake up to quiet, and I'm happy
I have 3 kids, and baby #4 on the way and it’s pure lovely exhausting chaos and i wouldn’t change it for anything. ❤😅👶🏼👶🏼👶🏼👶🏼

Did the 3 kiddos under 4. It's a blur. My husband was working 12 hour days. I solo patented. God, I wish I had a quarter of that energy now!!
Can't wait to hear the big news with Steven Miller cause literally 3 days ago I was thinking about him and his family and I said to myself, now that his doing what his doing now...won't it would be great if he also did something with you guys.
"Media" tip: I could do without the background noise (music)!
@@vanillaghetto yeah, maybe a bit muted maybe. With it in the background instead of at the same volume as the voices.
Aw, what happened to all of your old videos?
Y’all are awesome. ❤❤❤❤❤
Aw nice video eastfam happy Friday 3/8/24 🙂 and happy international womens day 2024 💜
