this is probably pretty much what anybody would feel in any business or job after 15 years, it's just that youtubers often are rich enough to quit, while others aren't lol. anyway, this shouldn't be discouraging to new youtubers, it should be motivating! now the spots of those quitters are up for grabs!

Yeah. Who knows why it's all happening all at once. A lot of these TH-camrs started 10-15 years ago and I think they are finally hitting that point of exhaustion. Many TH-camrs I follow have been at it for that amount of time, found success, and it's all hitting at the same moment
there is a Indian youtuber Beastboyshub how took a 10 month break after 5-6 years of weekly uploads and when he restarted he lost a lot of audience but his view no.s are improving
That's good to know. Typically when a creator takes a break they will lose some relevance or people lose interest but it's much healthier for the creator.
