iPad Mini fits my small purse. PERIOD PARAGRAPH EXCLAMATION POINT. I'm still crawling along with the 4. Didn't like what I read about the 6 and Jelly Roll, etc. while my 4 was still chugging along. Thought I could hold out for the next model. Didn't think it would be forever (or maybe never). By now the little 4 is almost "the little train that can't." I WANT MY 7! First time Apple has let me down in over 38 years.
I seldom use my phone so I have an older cheap Samsung - which I'm not fond of but I paid about $100 and got free minutes, no monthly bill, so it suits my needs. Come on Mr. Apple make this long-time user a happy camper.
As an iPad mini user who thinks the screen size is perfect I just couldn’t see walking around with a tv in your hands so the iPad Air is definitely the biggest I’d go 😂
the letterboxing on the iPads is insane.
The picture looks almost as big as my pixel 6. Seems kind of pointless to me.
If it's just a question of small size for portability on the go I'd still go for the Mini otherwise it's the Air. It's a moot point for me though since I prefer Android over IOS.
at 530 for 256gb version it seems ok, even if apple make a ipad mini 7 it wont be cheap....

That night be a new Mini, or they may kill it like the Mini phone lineup. The only high view press the latest mini got during window is largest sales was negative press. Between the “jelly scroll” and laughable storage options, a galaxy tab s8 blows the mini away in most aspects if you can handle the larger and lagging app selection (it’s getting better all the time, but you don’t buy a device for what might come out for 2 or 3 generations later).
I love the Mini lineup, both for iPhone (I’m happy still using the 13 Mini I preordered) and iPad. That said, the iPad Mini is priced too high, even at slashed prices, with that joke of non expandable storage it’s not worth it. Maybe 128gb base of they add full current gen speeds to the USB-C port… which if the possible new Mini uses the last gen Pro phone processor for some reason instead of the newly announced, then it’ll still be stuck at USB 2 speeds making working off external storage not really a thing. The new phone processor might not even have faster current gen USB speeds either, but I doubt that. I might pay a pretty penny to get a new Mini with the new Pro Series processor, an updated display, and storage/usb speed upgrades baseline. It I can get accurate colors, I love using my current Mini to do quick photo processing in the field to show to clients.
The prices of solid Galaxy Tab S8+ make it hard over the S8/S8,+ though.
I have an ipad 10 and just traded my 200$ ipad mini 5 for the 6 at 350 at best buy and got it for 150 plus tax. I've enjoyed the mini 6 and kinda wish i got it sooner but i didnt have a need with the ipad mini 5 and ipad 10

That would be a really easy video as it would show only the iPad Mini. Basically it has no Android competitor as not many tablets exist below 10". Even if you find something, don't expect any amazing specifications.
At least in North America, they literally don’t exist! There are hardly any android tablets with cellular to begin with, let alone mini sized ones
Only thing at present which can be work upon, is Samsung A9. Still 40 gm heavier; still weak compare to iPad mini. Will be possibly updated till android 15 and two more years of security update. Thing is money; 147 dollars for international version on Amazon. Less than half of iPad mini price on Amazon. So it can be part of echo system if one has good possibly premium Samsung phone; strictly for media consumption, communication via email and as a reader.
Lenovo TAB M9. The problem is reading apps seem to be vanishing off of the Play Store. Example: DarkHorse comics. App was discontinued in May.
too many reloads in Safari with 4GB RAM, deal breaker for me...
iOS has better ram management than android so 4gb is plenty. Android needs at least 6gb of ram to be stable.
@@disastermaster3K I have a ton of iPads with RAM ranging from 0.5, to 1, to 2, 3, 4, 6 and 8GB. And also many Android devices. And while indeed 4GB on iPad is better than 4 on Android, it's still pretty terrible when it comes to Safari reloads (on other apps it's not that bad). 6GB RAM Android are better, but still not great. 6GB iPad are a much better and that's the minimum to avoid frequent reloads of tabs in Safari

@@_Digitalguy i have have 3 different types of iPads. One of them is a 9th generation iPad with 3gb of ram. I have never had any issues with it. I use it as a mini.
@@disastermaster3K That shows you don't know how RAM works on iPads... I have a mini 5 with 3gb of ram too. My sister was like you, she didn't even realize that reloads were a thing, she thought it was normal, that iPads worked like that, until she bought a M1 iPad pro....
Bigger than 10 inch and it gets annoying imo, great to watch youtube on but horrendous to type on

yes i think they advertise 10 hours for mixed usage, my testing is a little more extreme at 100% screen brightness

I dont understand why ppl buy the mini. Like Why the heck would i pay so much money for a device that has just a bit bigger screen than my phone.
The iPad Mini is mostly used by people with a very small sized screen smartphone, so they can enjoy activities like watching videos. It's also super portable that might be an important factor for some.

@alucard6992 you have no idea what you are talking about. I am using s24u along ipad mini, my wife uses iphone 15 pro max along ipad mini. Night and day difference in media consumption and everything else. Reason why we use it as we preffer bigger screen for TH-cam, Netflix etc but yet not too big so we could carry them around...

@@Oreosanait’s mainly because if you can find a m2 iPad Pro you can get a better screen both in color accuracy and refresh rate plus better data speeds through the usb c port
You will lose apple pencil pro support if you buy m2 pro
For me I bought the m2 air Despite my great love for the mini that I had before, I appreciate the pen more, and I do not care about the fast screen refresh rate and the rest of pro features I think before you decide, you should set your priorities and not fall into the trap of Apple's hesitation.@@Oreosana
