I have a set up in my basement with wildly different speakers running through an old HK 9450 AV receiver. One set is Bose 901's (the last series) with it's EQ and the other an old set of Yamaha floorstanders with dual 8" woofers. The Bose's are set up correctly for the room they're in BTW. Something like this would be cool to have but I'm kind of spooked to put anything in the chain between the amp and the speakers. If it has ZERO negative effect I could see something like this being a cool toy ( for the money) but I would never buy this for anything that has been properly set up and calibrated.
I'd live to hear the setup you have! But yea, I agree with what you're saying. It takes a lot of effort to get things just right, and sometimes, it's not worth adding things in the loop. It works great for me since I don't have to keep switching cables now, but yea, if I had a set of 901's, I wouldn't want to mess with it. By the time I realised I wanted to pick up a set, they had discontinued them sadly. Those Yamaha towers must be quite an experience for every listen!

Hi, i have one question....did you find any distortion while running this Neihipo et30? Also, the websites you have given are the US, which is prone to levying custom fees. So, are there any other vendors in India selling at a proper price? As you rightly said, the India Amazon prices are ridiculous.
I haven't had distortion issues with it. The only time it has a difference in output is if I use a battery backup pack to power it, but with a connected power brick, there isn't an issue. Try writing to Neohipo and asking them about your concerns. I'm sure they'd be happy to help.

I prefer the JD1 over the Salnotes. If you're looking at the USB C variant, the JD1 has 5 different tunings you can choose from as well. It'll be fun to play with.
Hello Sir, Presently using JBL Tune230 TWS. (rapid battery draining issue cropped up) Please recommend me a Type C Cable IEM. Requirement: I prefer slight bass (not too heavy) but with very balanced, detailed neutral sound staging, where I can notice the immersive experience of instrument separation and nuances. Mostly, I listen to Ilaiyaraaja (80s Songs) AR Rahman(90s Songs) and latest Tamil/Malayalam/Punjabi songs. My Buget is Rs.4000 and doesn't have DAC. I prefer sound quality over build quality and durability. This is going to be my first IEM. Advance Thanks.

This is the only one in market that doesn't add any distortions compared to other brands including the one from FOSI.
Oh really? I figured the Fosi would also be clean sounding! This is a nice unit. I've actually been listening to a lot more music because of it.
