Thank you for sharing your method - definitely going to give it a try with the 362 I just picked up. Seems like a pretty easy and reliable way to fix some of the air filter issues Stihl has. On my 500 and 661's I switched over to the Max Airflow system, but I definitely see the utility in your method. Thanks again for sharing and may God bless you and keep you safe.
Yes i was onto this quick smart. Though i find having to clean the Air filter every morning, and reapplying grease. Is becoming annoying. Am thinking about going a Pod filter and be done with it. At 2.5 k you think they would of been on to this.
@@benpavenko3149Yap true, I use silicone grease on both my 500i and 661. Seems to help. The older design with the screw lock seems to not have any issue compared to these twist locks. Luckily the fix is easy to do

Did you ever do a follow up video on the cleaning of the 500i?
Здравствуйте это пила какого поколения 3.0 ?
No it’s the first generation, of their fuel injection chainsaw
It seems that sthil has some design flaws this changed my opinion about buying a sthil saw over the husqvarna
No need for all this, just add a second orange foam gasket over the existing one where the twist-lock engages. Done.
Yea I bet I’m just talking about sealing up the bottom seal becuase they don’t seal well. I’ve noticed dust creeping up through the bottom.
