@@JulieMeikle I have a couple from Essence, Elf and NYX and CoIor Pop I really enjoy. Great palettes. 😁 I was trained under Lady Finelle Cosmetics, later known as just Finelle Cosmetics in my early 20’s, many moons ago, they are no longer around that I know of. It was an amazing line for their time but I continued doing makeup using many different brands along with hair for many years. I can honestly say I enjoyed doing makeup much more than hair. I guess I just do not have the patience… My daughter is a wiz at them thou… I can’t wait to try this look, I think I mentioned this is my favorite ND palette, followed by the Glam palette for me. Lately I have been into using her minis though. I love how they take out the guess work on my brain fog days, which are many of late…😝I’ll have to try a Covergirl now that they are cruelty free… Right now though, I am eye shadow palleted out and trying to cut back on my stash I only have 2 eyes and one face and can only wear so much , not being a TH-camr… 🤣🤣🤣 Right now I’m really enjoying, soft make looks like bridal looks, shopping my stash and if I lost all of my makeup what would be my repurchases videos.😁 I hope you have a fantastic weekend. God bless💜😁💜
@@Diane0123 Where do you purchase ColorPop from? I ordered from their website years ago and the duty was pricey. The duty and exchange rate didn't make sense. Have they changed their shipping? I'm with you. I dealt with horrible anxiety when I did hair, not from the crowded salons but from my own expectations and insecurities. Makeup is easy to change if I'm not happy with it. I love it!
@@JulieMeikle Expectations and insecurities were a huge part as well, the bullying was the icing on the cake… If I order I order directly from the site as well, but that was when everything was more affordable, it’s been a couple years thou… My last purchase was my the Cold Stone Fox palette and the shipping was affordable. I don’t remember paying duty on my order but it’s been a couple of years… I’m not one to throw out my palettes every 2 years, I sanitize them every few months and continue to use them until they stop performing, so far they still perform like the day I purchased them…😁
Very pretty Julie. Soft, yet a very elegant look. Your makeup always looks amazing. I finally ordered a set of BK brushes! YAY😊❤. I can’t wait to get them. Seems likes it’s taking forever to get my order. 😢. Anyhoo, Happy Fourth of July. You and Hubby have a great Date Night. You’ve been so quiet about your moving and what’s going on with the New House? Look forward to seeing the land and house
Happy 4th of July! That's what all the noise is around my house. My dogs won't stop barking. It has to be fireworks. We're used to celebrating both Canada Day and 4th of July since it's so close together and we're so close to the border. We get the keys on August 21st. Dave and I are both excited. Our house sold so fast that we've been able to relax. I'll start packing soon.
Thank you Julie! You look gorgeous! Hope you get to go out with your hubby lol I so want to try natasha denona nude palette and the Mac eye shadow primer . I need to get away from drug store shadow that does not work for me .
Can I make a suggestion? You can use your concealer as your eyeshadow base for now so if you're on a budget, get your eyeshadow palette first and build from there.
Julie, you create such lovely looks! I cannot believe there are that many people who watch your channel but do not subscribe! I wish I could subscribe on my side for each one of them! Shameful‼️🤣 You are so right about ease of use with more prestige eye shadow products. Eye shadow, mascara and most skincare, are non negotiables for me! The Repher 23 brush is one of my fav detail brushes! I wish I could start completely from scratch with all Repher brushes and toss most of the brushes I have collected over 100 years! I own the same jelly blush you used, and you can quickly give yourself a set of clown cheeks if you’re not super careful! Under painting is a good strategy to combat that from happening. Thanks for the tip! Outer corner lashes look much better on me than the full strip! They are a lot easier to apply as well! They really seem to give a nice uplifted look which helps as we age! I have such a hard time with concealer under my eyes these days powder under there, regardless of what I use and how sparingly I use it very sparingly but looks crazy-kinda like a roadmap to “olderville!” I love watching your videos, Julie I learn so much from you! I hope your house moving journey is going smoothly! Please keep the videos coming! 👌🏾👏🏽🙌🏽👍🏽
Thank you, Cali. I went a touch crazy with the concealer in this video. I'm not sure what got into me except it wears off me quickI think it's because I smile a lot.😃 I kept it on the inner corner though. Besides it turning out to be the wrong colour, it stayed really well. When I tapped it under the rest of my eye is was only softening the stop and start. This did seem to work but it's difficult. I swear our skin changes day to day and sometimes hour to hour. I filmed me doing my mother-in-law's makeup yesterday. She looked stunning. I used Natasha Denona's concealer on her. It looks stunning, hydrated and stayed. I don't know why I keep forgetting to use it. Map to "Olderville"🤣 I'm going to try using a full strip lash but I'm still going to cut it in half. That way there won't be tension on the inner corner so hopefully it won't pop off. I do love the look of lashes.
GM. Stunning, just stunning. Julie, have you tried the cluster lashes by Velour? They are self sticking and go under the lashes and omg, they are so natural looking and easy to apply. I am really done wearing strip lashes and messing with glue. BTW, they are so much prettier than any others I have tried. Your underpainting worked beautifully on you fair skin. Perfection, my friend. Hugs, KC
I've seen them but I haven't tried them yet. They're $30.00 here. Goodness. Have you been able to reuse them? Now I have to try them. Add to cart. You're videos are so good, Kalondia. I have one up on a tab. I watched half and then had to leave. It's there for me to finish though. I like seeing you in this format. Are you doing your own editing? So good?
@@JulieMeikle good morning. They are? We really need to get you on their PR list. Have you reached out to them on IG in their DM's? If not, I will send them a DM and tell them abou you. I have found an amazing editor. I will text you and give you the deets. Thank you for your lovely comments - it means so much to me. xo
I'm honestly not sure. It wasn't purposely like that. I had been sitting there for so long I think my brain was getting tired. I have all the brushes in a pinned comment so they're easy to find.
I disagree. I find each shadow is different. Each day is different with my skin. So you really need to pack several formulas to be ready. Unless you want dry, saggy, crepey skin. That’s why women stop wearing eyeshadow. Good thing I’m not a makeup artist. I’d pack a cream stick to be used everywhere that way at least one spot on your face would shine. I guess that’s the appeal of the boomstick. Im just a negative nelly today. Sorry to unload on you Julie Meikle. You’re so sweet too!
You can unload here. That's ok. I'm confused though. What part do you disagree with? I love cream shadow sticks and they're the easiest product to travel with.

I haven’t learnt the knack of false lashes yet, believe me, I wish I could…. I guess I just do not have the patience… My daughter is a wiz at them thou…
I can’t wait to try this look, I think I mentioned this is my favorite ND palette, followed by the Glam palette for me. Lately I have been into using her minis though. I love how they take out the guess work on my brain fog days, which are many of late…😝I’ll have to try a Covergirl now that they are cruelty free…
Right now though, I am eye shadow palleted out and trying to cut back on my stash I only have 2 eyes and one face and can only wear so much , not being a TH-camr… 🤣🤣🤣
Right now I’m really enjoying, soft make looks like bridal looks, shopping my stash and if I lost all of my makeup what would be my repurchases videos.😁
I hope you have a fantastic weekend.
I love it!
@@JulieMeikle Expectations and insecurities were a huge part as well, the bullying was the icing on the cake…
If I order I order directly from the site as well, but that was when everything was more affordable, it’s been a couple years thou… My last purchase was my the Cold Stone Fox palette and the shipping was affordable. I don’t remember paying duty on my order but it’s been a couple of years…
I’m not one to throw out my palettes every 2 years, I sanitize them every few months and continue to use them until they stop performing, so far they still perform like the day I purchased them…😁
Very pretty Julie.
I'm not sure what got into me except it wears off me quickI think it's because I smile a lot.😃
I kept it on the inner corner though.
Map to "Olderville"🤣
I'm going to try using a full strip lash but I'm still going to cut it in half. That way there won't be tension on the inner corner so hopefully it won't pop off. I do love the look of lashes.
❤❤
It was so nice meeting you last night, Joanne!
Thank you for your lovely comments - it means so much to me. xo
@@kalondiacasey That would be amazing for both! Thank you! Editing is taking hours and hours of my time and I'm not on many PR lists. Thank you!
Wait, that's for the kit. Without the kit is $24.00.
Why are you telling us which BK Beauty brushes you are using but not the Rephr brushes except the 23?
I'm honestly not sure. It wasn't purposely like that. I had been sitting there for so long I think my brain was getting tired. I have all the brushes in a pinned comment so they're easy to find.
@@JulieMeikleThank you. I thought it might be the 12 or 26 but it was the 32. I love this look.
@@bernadettez1967 You're welcome, Bernadette and thank you. 😍
