Have you ever thought of stars how we navigators find it while sailing around the world from one port to another.... Here is how?
In this video I am gonna explain you and teach you how we navigators find star at sea. finding star is an art and also at the same time it's about calculation. once you know few stars then you can remember them if you are at same place but as you start travelling around the globe it becomes difficult to identify, mostly at sea if you are a sailing deck officer.
Specially when you are planning to go onboard or when you are already a deck cadet or officer you need to calculate compass error every watch to get the deviation and if you are not aware how to find different stars, you will not be able to do so.
so lets know how these calculations done on ship by Navigating officer of the watch.
