yes! I had no idea that "graph theory" even existed! To be honest, I've since finished university and now work in finance (no math beyond first-year calc/stats) and I`m very keen on learning about gt. All the best Pat
Hey in my book applied combinatorics 2016 edition(M.Keller and W.Trotter), the capacity of a cut is measured by adding the "capacity" of edges going from one partition to other ....I am confused.
Hi Patrick. Why there are no calculus 3 videos like 3D spaces, Quadratic surfaces etc. this kind of stuff? it feels like youtube barely has any content for this class. Please consider it. Thank you!
could you have functions as flow or capacity values? So say if you were modelling the flow of a liquid through a pipe that's radius changes size, so the rate of flow, F, would change as a function of the radius, r ; F(r).
capacity and flow are two different things, yet when you said 'capacity' of the cut , you added the 'flows' of that cut ? I am confused with terminology.
where is the followup video to this?
Please more videos on graph theory! I'm taking Graph Theory this summer!
ok, will do :)
patrickJMT Much appreciated!

I would also very much appreciate that! I'm taking that this fall! Thank you!!
please where I get the related videos in graph theory and discrete mathematics ?
We literally just learned about this in class today. You rock my socks Patrick.
ha! well, this was just a short intro but I'm going to do some more. Input is always appreciated, so let me know what helps!
God bless you for spreading the fruits of knowledge!
i love your channel you helped me through a homework problem that not even Khan Academy could...
Khan Academy a joke
perhaps, but khan academy is still good
I love my best youtube teacher"Patrick"❤️ I am from Kurdistan-Iraq
Damn. I thought yall were running from isis. But hey information is cool!!!
Thank you. I only came to find out how to determine a min cut and I was not disappointed :)
Very useful! Have you made the follow-up video for the max flow - min cut ?? I can not find it in your channel

It is gonna be pretty good if you put more videos about this.
Once again, thanks!
Thanks alot
Which tools and Camera you use to make such videos.
Hi, I heard you are saying there is another video talking about maximize the flow, can you show me the link? Thanks. Very useful video.

MashaAllah you are a very good explainer......
Eagerly waiting for your following vidios on the topic an more
nailed the requirements.
Please make more videos on Graph Theory
wondering how it would work for a closed graph? If there was no flow going out from (C,D) to E ?
Waiting for the next one.
will you do videos in electromagnetics part? its full of maths rather than electricals or anyother subjects. can you please give it a try?
Why did you calculate capacity of a cut as sum of flows, not sum of capacities?
hI can I have the link to next video please?
Can u please explain algebraic manipulation and division method
Can you please do a video on direction cosines and direction ratios before april please .. you really explain very well
I think there is a mistake, you added the flows but you were supposed to add the capacities (in your example the result is the same though)
Very useful and enjoyable to watch! I'm 50th comment :^)
Can you please implement this into java program sample? :) thanks in advance.
Maths Lover forever !
can i get the reference for this, pls?
thank you

capacity is the max amount that can go through. flow is the amount that is actually going through at that point.
Yes thankyou, I understood that part, but why did you add flows of the cut and call it the capacity of the cut?
Next video soon but when?....
Sir Patrickjmt have you heard of a TH-cam channel called numberphile?
of course
i've met brady a couple of times and he is a very nice guy, he does good work
Thanks
"non negative"?
worth 100 likes!!!
still no follow up :(
to what? what do you want?
@@patrickjmt min cut max flow? thank you so much for this video btw. It was very helpful
B->D flow is 4, not 6
please more videos sir
no one watches these though :)
I find this video really helpful. You are good at explaining these things
@@patrickjmt We do
i love you
Did you just say oil?
