My heart 💔 Fred was such an amazing character, so strong & pure, she just wanted to make the world a better place & for everyone to be happy. This video was so well done & expressed exactly who she was.
One of the reasons I started watching Person of Interest was to watch Amy Acker. Amy made the character of Fred so believable, I wanted to see how much was just acting "tricks." Amy has real talent because Fred is not Root and Root is not Fred. This tribute shows a different Amy than POI. Thanks for creating this montage.
The saddest thing about Fred is that she isn't anywhere now. In the Buffyverse, there's a life after death. You can console yourself that the characters you loved who died are now in some sort of heaven. All except Fred. Her soul was destroyed resurecting Illyria. She's just... gone.
Well…they brought her back in the canon comics though, and she’s sharing a body with Illyria so she’s also immortal now, pretty good deal. Plus, the death was never meant to be as serious as Joyce’s, had there been a season 6 for angel, joss have always prepared a big story arc about Fred and Illyria fighting for the body control. It could be so interesting but we never got to see it on screen because Joss and WB decided to have a piss contest😢
