There are countries that are part of the commonwealth that the monarch is not head of state, yes, but there are those that are both realm of the commonwealth and a constitutional monarchy with the British royal sovereign as the head of state due to being a former colony. Yes I agree that Harry and the Megs tried to get in on that. Now for the D-day event. The Royals were there as head of state for the countries they represent from the allied forces including England, Canada, and Australia. While there Princess Anne unveiled and statue commemorating a Canadian regiment that was instrumental to the invasion on Juno beach in Normandy and Prince William spoke to the Canadian troops, families and dignitaries. The King and Queen spoke in Portsmouth, Uk where the launch occurred. There were also events at Omaha beach. These beaches are named based on landing zones from the d-day landing. Now I think some of your fundamental understanding of the relationship between the royals and the other countries they are head of state is a little weak but overall you do a good job. I know you did not grow up with it as an American.

The Apache has two pilots: a Pilot who sits in the rear seat, and a copilot/gunner (CPG) in the front seat. The CPG is a fully trained and qualified pilot, both stations have flight controls and the aircraft can be flown from either seat, but for typical flight operations the pilot focuses on flying the aircraft while the CPG focuses on the sensors and weapons. But because our environment now apparently demands sneering at the military service of those one doesn’t like politically or what have you, people seized on Harry being assigned duties completely normal and expected for any British Army pilot in his position as him not being a “real” pilot.

The monarch has traditionally been the head of the Church of England (as I understand it), so it does figure into its ceremonies. In many instances, you cannot just cut out the Christian religion because it is part of British history. The Christian religion is not the only religion in Britain, but it is a major one.

Ok, there are a few statements you are making that I want to comment on. The late Queen wore the flowers of the countries she was head of state for, whom are also part of the commonwealth. There are countries that are part of the commonwealth that the monarch is not head of state, yes, but there are those that are both realm of the commonwealth and a constitutional monarchy with the British royal sovereign as the head of state due to being a former colony.
Yes I agree that Harry and the Megs tried to get in on that.
Now for the D-day event. The Royals were there as head of state for the countries they represent from the allied forces including England, Canada, and Australia. While there Princess Anne unveiled and statue commemorating a Canadian regiment that was instrumental to the invasion on Juno beach in Normandy and Prince William spoke to the Canadian troops, families and dignitaries. The King and Queen spoke in Portsmouth, Uk where the launch occurred. There were also events at Omaha beach. These beaches are named based on landing zones from the d-day landing.
Now I think some of your fundamental understanding of the relationship between the royals and the other countries they are head of state is a little weak but overall you do a good job. I know you did not grow up with it as an American.
Yes, the King is the actual head of state for several countries. The British Commonwealth came into being at a time when the members were all self-governing dominions within the British Empire but recognised as equal to the UK, with the monarch as head of state for all. Australia’s current Governor-General Sir David Hurley (the King’s representative in Australia who signs every piece of legislation and gives it ‘the royal assent’ as the King does in the UK) was in the middle of the D-Day lineup at the start of the video.
That level of achievement will take a lot more than 1 hour a week each of work. Additionally, they are not creatives. So it will be very difficult for them to have any significant level of influence in hollywood or anywhere else.
Catherine wrote a letter to her regiment apolgising for her absence. Did Harry write a letter to the marines apologising for going to a fim premiere instead?
