If you changed any pulleys, moved accessories or even added a supercharger. You might need a non stock belt. So I will show how to measure one up. Also how to read the package so you can pick it out yourself.

In case you just want to cut to the chase and figure out the numbers, jump all the way to 5:45

92.3 is not 92 and one third inches, it is 92 and 3 tenths of an inch. Engineering measurements in US seem to always be in tenths of an inch while the rest of the "regular folks who occasionally wear python boots" use measurements divided into quarter/eighths/sixteenths/etc.... why didn't the US adopt metric back in the 1970's?...

Usually the size is in the cars manual if you don’t have one usually it’s printed on sticker near the belt its self also showing a diagram of how the belt is run around the pulleys

Yes but some folks like to delete things like A/C pulleys and smog pump pulleys, doing that usually causes a different routing of the belt and usually a shorter belt, in that case the diagram or recommended length is useless 👍

well in all seriousness I am glad I'm not the only one that had problems picking the right size I've got a got an 8-cylinder Chrysler motor and I'm just trying to bypass the air conditioner unit and you think they would have a standard size they even say they do you get the thing it doesn't fit what the f*** is going on Crazy Town?

Question sir. If you have a 6pk1105 on your belt. But only available belt at the moment is 6pk1115. Can I still use the 6pk1115? Or is that too long

I'm thinking that will be too long. If ur in doubt heres a tip. If you can easily return your belt, grab a few size around the size you think you need and return the other belts that dont fit.

@@alloyspeed1889 I found one 6pk1100 exact size in the internet for VW and Audi but my car is Nissan Maxima. So you think this is good. Same size on the belt.

@@2john149 I dont think the vw or audi name matters. Unless they have different pully design, but I dont think they do. As long as the tensioner is near the middle when the belt is on, it should work. So, if you think a 6pk1100 will do it, you can give it a shot.
