The ashram was built in the memory of Swami Vishudhanand, the saint better known as Kali Kamli Wala (the saint with a black blanket). It is very popular among foreign tourists mainly because of the ethnic touch. It is located at Gangapar, Ram Jhula. There are lots of ashrams, and temples inside the Swarg Ashram. This place is very popular among foreign tourists as well as among locals, because of its ethnic touch. Several religious activities, like chanting, meditation, aarti take place inside the Swarg Ashram. Ashram is maintained by a trust called "Kali Kamliwala Kshetra".

इस आश्रम में महिलाओं को पति के साथ जाने पर ही कमरा दिया जाता है अगर कोई महिला अपने छोटे बच्चों के साथ भी वहां रूकने के लिए जाती है तो ये मना कर देते हैं कहते हैं कि हमारे नियम है कि हम अकेली या बच्चों के साथ कोई महिला आसरा मांगे तो नहीं देते हैं आश्रम का तो अर्थ ही आसरा देना होता है।और एक दिन भी रुकना हो तो दो दिन का किराया देते हैं यह मेरा स्वयं का अनुभव है दो महीने पहले का ही। आश्रम स्थापित करने वालों ने तो अच्छे उद्देश्य से ही संस्था बनाई पर अभी मक्कार लोग घुसे बैठे हैं तो अपने जान पहचान वाले को ही लाभ पहुंचाने का प्रयास करते हैं।

नहीं जी यहाँ बहुत परेशान करता है यहाँ का रिसेप्शनिस्ट लोग बहुत तरहा का बातें करते है पर रुम नहीं देता सब रूम फूल है बताता है पर खाली रहते हुए भी

हरिद्वार और ऋषिकेश में कहीं भी किसी भी आश्रम में सिंगल व्यक्ति को रूम नहीं मिलता है।

मेरे लिए प्रॉपर्टी चुनने का सबसे बड़ा क्राइटेरिया वहां का टॉयलेट होता है ।हमारे देश में पता नहीं क्यों किसी भी सस्ती प्रॉपर्टी में टॉयलेट गंदे ही मिलेंगे । यहां भी ऐसा ही कुछ देखने को मिल रहा है । आश्रम वाले चाहे तो टैरिफ बढ़ा ले लेकिन टॉयलेट देख कर घृणा नहीं आनी चाहिए ।

तीन दिन पहले यहां रह कर आए हैं खटमलों से भरा कमरा मिला पूरी रात जाग कर बिताई ऐसा कमरा तो दिखा या ही नहीं सस्ता कमरा दे ने का ये अर्थ नही कि गरीब लोगों को खटमलों से कटवाया जाए गरीब भी आदमी हैं कृपया उनकी भावनाओं से खिलवाड़ नकरें

I remember living in one of these basic rooms in 1990 in Rishikesh as a kid, now having lived across the world I felt like spending one night in that 200 rs room and donate some, much better accomodation than the super luxury river facing rooms selling at 7500

This was best ashram we stayed after watching your video with excellent information right beside ma Ganga in Dec 2021. Untill then we didn't know we can stay in ashrams also.excellent property . we stayed in shiv ganga. At that time not much crowd and it was peacefull and calm.thanks to Sapnaji.
