I'm only halfway through your video here.... You both have hit the nail on the head. As an American, it astounds me, as to how far we, as a people have fallen. Furthermore, how few of us actually see it. That's the very troubling part. With how popular Tom and Adam have become, it seems like there should be a far greater percentage of people here that actually see what's happening and stand up against it, but they don't. Both sides of our political spectrum are damaged beyond repair, and are sinking this country to depths not seen since before the abolition of slavery, perhaps worse. The people are arguably more divided than they were in the 50's, during the equal rights era.. Again, you guys see it, you just talked about it, and (I'm sorry, I don't know the woman's name, as this is your first video that I've seen,) when she said how sad our situation is..... That hit home. I've felt that way for a long, long time, and paying attention to our government and societal trends here, is more like a punishment rather than a true responsibility as it this government was designed. See, I don't know how much y'all know about the inception of the US, (and I'm not trying to be condescending in any way,) But the government was designed to be controlled, policed and ran by it's people. That hasn't changed, That's still in our constitution, that is still our responsibility as American citizens.... Something that used to be taught in our schools, which no longer is.... This is a responsibility ignored by it's people for far too long, and the over-reaching government has worked very hard to keep it's people divided. This is why we've gotten as bad as we have. And I'd love to say that we'll "right the ship..." But I'm 33 years old, I've been watching since September 11th, 2001, paying attention to what America does, how it reacts, and how it's run.... And I've got to tell you, I don't know that we honestly can, and the young lady here is right, it's very sad, and borderline terrifying. We need to start seeing this garbage for what it is, and stand together, which is why I respect Tom and Adam for doing what they're doing, as they're using their voices to potentially change our situation and rally people behind each-other.. Something we desperately need. We need to understand that we're not left or right, not Black or White, Not America or Immigrant, but human beings, no matter your heritage or origin.. We need to stand together... I know there are awful situations around the world, I have a few European friends that keep me apprised of the situation over there, but I don't think the rest of the world honestly knows just how close we are to lighting the fuse on the powder keg that is the United States. But we constantly try to stay updated on international politics. Since we're looking at things from the outside, you don't have to be a genius to realize what's the actual root of the problem and what's the real solution. I'm 32 and Elie's 34, and we've been observing how the political climate has changed since 9/11 and I agree with you, people are more divided now than ever before. There was really no difference between the 2 parties back then... It’s a matter of both parties really looking at one another and recognizing that they have superordinate goals that need to be achieved, goals that both sides desire, but neither side can achieve without the active cooperation of the other side. Hopefully things turn out for the better everywhere 🙏🤍

When sports stopped, and people had nothing to entertain themselves with, people started paying attention to politics. I'm right there with you tho, but talking to people in person, im starting to realize, more people know exactly whats going on, but don't want to speak up. People are worried about being "Cancelled". They don't want to lose, what they have spent years building. I'm 35, i was a freshmen in high school during 9/11, and from a huge military family. We saw this country unite after 9/11, and a sleeping giant was awakened by those attacks. Its always had to be an outside force, that unites the People of the United States. On a side note, i believe more and more people are starting to become libertarians, or realizing they always were one. This midterm, the Democrats are going to lose a ton... i believe we are seeing the death of the Democratic party.

Remember how much larger the US is than Lebanon not just in land mass but population. The government is easier to deal with (lets see what kind of changes we can accomplish in this year's elections) The systems that are creating problems right now are Academia the media and of course social media which creates anger & division putting people against one another including family members over BS

Union is an bully of other European counties, Youre being told what cars you can buy or drive in the future, heavy regulations and massive taxation in an effort to make life more "fair" for everyone equals less freedom. Europe Union is closer to a form of Marxism than anything. I can go on and on.... I'm only halfway through your video here.... You both have hit the nail on the head. As an American, it astounds me, as to how far we, as a people have fallen. Furthermore, how few of us actually see it. That's the very troubling part. With how popular Tom and Adam have become, it seems like there should be a far greater percentage of people here that actually see what's happening and stand up against it, but they don't. Both sides of our political spectrum are damaged beyond repair, and are sinking this country to depths not seen since before the abolition of slavery, perhaps worse. The people are arguably more divided than they were in the 50's, during the equal rights era.. Again, you guys see it, you just talked about it, and (I'm sorry, I don't know the woman's name, as this is your first video that I've seen,) when she said how sad our situation is..... That hit home. I've felt that way for a long, long time, and paying attention to our government and societal trends here, is more like a punishment rather than a true responsibility as it this government was designed. See, I don't know how much y'all know about the inception of the US, (and I'm not trying to be condescending in any way,) But the government was designed to be controlled, policed and ran by it's people. That hasn't changed, That's still in our constitution, that is still our responsibility as American citizens.... Something that used to be taught in our schools, which no longer is.... This is a responsibility ignored by it's people for far too long, and the over-reaching government has worked very hard to keep it's people divided. This is why we've gotten as bad as we have. And I'd love to say that we'll "right the ship..." But I'm 33 years old, I've been watching since September 11th, 2001, paying attention to what America does, how it reacts, and how it's run.... And I've got to tell you, I don't know that we honestly can, and the young lady here is right, it's very sad, and borderline terrifying. We need to start seeing this garbage for what it is, and stand together, which is why I respect Tom and Adam for doing what they're doing, as they're using their voices to potentially change our situation and rally people behind each-other.. Something we desperately need. We need to understand that we're not left or right, not Black or White, Not America or Immigrant, but human beings, no matter your heritage or origin.. We need to stand together... I know there are awful situations around the world, I have a few European friends that keep me apprised of the situation over there, but I don't think the rest of the world honestly knows just how close we are to lighting the fuse on the powder keg that is the United States. It's troubling, to put it mildly, and very sad, indeed. Good content, you two, Keep up the good work!
Hello! I'm Carol 😁 wow thank you so much for your very informative input. This helps us understand more about the situation as we're not residents nor citizens of the US. But we constantly try to stay updated on international politics. Since we're looking at things from the outside, you don't have to be a genius to realize what's the actual root of the problem and what's the real solution. I'm 32 and Elie's 34, and we've been observing how the political climate has changed since 9/11 and I agree with you, people are more divided now than ever before. There was really no difference between the 2 parties back then... It’s a matter of both parties really looking at one another and recognizing that they have superordinate goals that need to be achieved, goals that both sides desire, but neither side can achieve without the active cooperation of the other side. Hopefully things turn out for the better everywhere 🙏🤍

i believe we are referred to as the silent majority. There has been a political awakening in this country tho, thanks to Covid. When sports stopped, and people had nothing to entertain themselves with, people started paying attention to politics. I'm right there with you tho, but talking to people in person, im starting to realize, more people know exactly whats going on, but don't want to speak up. People are worried about being "Cancelled". They don't want to lose, what they have spent years building. I'm 35, i was a freshmen in high school during 9/11, and from a huge military family. We saw this country unite after 9/11, and a sleeping giant was awakened by those attacks. Its always had to be an outside force, that unites the People of the United States.
On a side note, i believe more and more people are starting to become libertarians, or realizing they always were one. This midterm, the Democrats are going to lose a ton... i believe we are seeing the death of the Democratic party.
