Paola Ogechi Egonu (born 18 December 1998) is an Italian female volleyball player of Nigerian heritage. She plays for Imoco Volley and is part of the Italy women's national volleyball team. She participated at the 2018 Montreux Volley Masters, 2018 FIVB Volleyball World Championship, and 2018 FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League.
On club level she played for Club Italia in 2015.] She was selected to play the Italian League All-Star game in 2017. In 2017 she moved to AGIL Novara.

Not a player, probably someone from the league managers) Insulted her on his racial origin and pushed her to leave the national team and italy. Dumb..ss piece of s...t!!!! At her young age. She’s too powerful and she improved a lot. For me she’s today world #1 in women’s category. We love Egonu from the Philippines 🇵🇭

I dont understand how she has a spike height in these matches around 3 - 3,05m with a decent run up bet with a quick google search it says she has 3,44m. There is no way there can be such a huge difference between her max and in game I mean she still has a decent run up and alot of adrenaline from the game I would accept maybe 5-10 cm but not 40cm thats impossible

@@easybuckets9740 To hit the ball at 305 the hand must be over that elevation. 344 is the maximum height (recorded) that she reached with her fingers. Subtract 15 for the point of contact between ball and hand and you have 329. When she hit 327 she was over there.

Frankly, I'm sure both Tijana & Zhu acknowledge she's the indisputable n.1 and for many years to come. Without naming names, Italy's got 5 or 6 out of the best starting 6 + 1 amongst current National teams.
