Since I was little, astronomy and space science and imagery was always interesting and wonderful to me. Science: en.wikipedia.o...
The fifth track finished for Transfiguration Error - this evolved quite a bit from the original sound, partially because I had stuck (in test) a modification on a high level grouping, left the work for a few weeks, and forgot it was there when I came back. It was causing headaches for getting sounds to work, and led to secondary effects, and then I decided to keep it in a small part, only for the beginning and turned on partially in a couple of points. However, it had led to the creative pathway that produced the piece in the end.
The base image is a composite from about nine different images. The animation was done in krita, then the visualization added with VSDC (dislike their marketing approach, still free mode myself, but was trying to learn something new), and then the final video composited together in Clipchamp.
There is a vocal version which is mostly ready, but due to the music in this one, I decided that this version is the official version and that a vocal version will be a Mix version, as I will have to do some additional work to get the sounds right and less competition, may also need to make some other changes (TBD) to get it to fit properly, as the initial attempts - I can hear the goal I want, but there are things to deal with in Mastering ;)
Notes: as with every song on Transfiguration Error, it uses less commonly used timing and structuring (all are in 5/4 timing, and the arrangement structure is IVRvRVV in essence)
Trying to use VSDC - I'm sure there are better ways to do what I was doing, but it was a one-evening learning experience - and for those of us who are very placement-detail-oriented you will notice that the visualization IS slightly off center - I may learn a systematic way in future to ensure positioning better like I had done with krita and the layers of magnetar images). You likely also noticed the stars in the background do move - at the slow pace that one might seem observing the sky through a telescope at night :)
I had additional plans for the animation of the magnetar but I also only allowed myself so much time for the animation project and a lot of that was spent trying to learn and get the visualizer in and working the way I wanted. However, the plans that I was not able to use will get used in one of the next upcoming animations I have planned :)
The "ambientmusic" tag - it probably only touches on aspects of ambient, but this tag was recommended :)
Thank you for listening!

Great musical composition and excellent sound friend! Wonderful work! ❤👍
thank you! 😁 I was happy with the musicality found through the differing instrumentation and effects on a straightforward composition, I'm glad you enjoyed! 😀
The good thing about electronic music is the freedom it allows, leaving room to experiment beyond what is classically musical, that is, with the textures and timbres of sounds! Well, this way simple progressions can be transformed into sonic wonders!
Well, my opinion is simply that of a humble amateur who loves all music!
@DOALTRONIC-Aldo_Amodei we share this then 😀 thank you for your thoughts and for listening! 😀
