When it comes to combat gameplay, there is vast difference between the usual mode and action camera mode. I really don't like the regular mode so I'm using the latter. In return, key bindings are more important. My setup (for now) is:
Q - healing
E - elite skill
ALT+A - Utility 1
ALT+S - Utility 2
ALT+D - Utility 3
§ - Toggle action camera on/off (weapon swapping reassigned to alternate mouse button)
1-5 for combat skills as usual
This kind of gameplay rewards me with better mobility, awareness of surroundings and a bit quicker access to out of reach utility skills.
The point being, choosing a mode best suited for you is pretty much essential to enjoying the game to its fullest.
