The answer to the farmer one would be 20 minutes I believe. You have to figure out the ratio of the speeds they can do the work in. So the farmer who can plow the field in 30 minutes does the work twice as fast. So we would do w+2w=1. With w being the amount of work done. So w=1/3. Since the faster farmer would do twice the work. He would get 2/3 of the field. So it’s 30(2/3) = 20 minutes for the faster farmer. And the slower farmer would have 60(1/3) =20 minutes.
