    I've seen people start with worse vehicles and make a nice driver out of them.
    Looking forward to more on this build, as I like the body style. Parents had a '66 Fairlane Wagon back in '73-'74.

    Hey Bob, a friend of mine bought a WhirlyGig rotisserie and set it up without reading the instructions. Put a nice 70 Judge on it, pulled the pin that holds everything in place and wiped out the whole side of the car. Hard Lesson learned😂

    I do believe that you used this on another rig that you fixed up. Man was smart, and thats something I was not to ever hear as a one word statement about myself with out a reference to a mule like animal attached to it. Looking good an looking like a busy would be the word of the day.

    Think i would started with dragging it out and used Water/Sand blasting, easier and more fun to work with a clean body.
    Take the holiday off and put the job in gear after new year.

      I may still do that but first all the undercoat has to come off as the blasting will just bounce off.

    I have a 66 Falcon Coupe, the fronts are identical structurally and I’m so glad I came across your channel since I stopped at the cowl because I don’t want to remove the windshield yet… Thanks for doing what you do and sharing with us, You’re the Man!

    Yea I learned about that bolt after it bent the side of a 68 elcam. I cut it off and rewelded it on the side. Problem solved.

      Oh ya! I have 1966 Fairlane500 weighting for the shop build (after the snow melts). It needs the same treatment !

    Ratchet straps are yr second pair of hands....you can get anything done with ropes and pulleys

    Yup not a problem. Ain’t no way I’d build one of those contraptions. Seems like a lot of work for not a whole lot of advantage. I do collision repair and I can’t think of one time I thought to myself “ I wish I could spin the car around like a chicken” . That said it’s an impressive build.

    I dont know much about a rotisserie maybe you could cut the bolt and nut off the lower legs and weld them on the side

    Ahh, shop crane to get it in the air. I put long ram jacks on mine.
    If any of you guys never used a rotisserie, you are missing out-big time!
    Even the rail style works well
