Nahhh you’re not old but the school you went to was either poor or behind on technology. Smart boards have been around for like 10yrs and about 5-6yrs ago Chromebooks started to get used in public schools.

At our school sometimes we can't play out at break time because it rains a lot in the UK (a fact the weather channel never told you) so we dance along to the TH-cam version of just dance
The other day in science this guy sitting at my table stopped the lesson to tell the entire class that everyone except for my friend had glasses at a table.
I did it all the time but not always, but when the time was right and the wind was strong i just had to sail my boat of jokes, my teachers loved me but i am sure there were many times when me and teacher would have this epic conversation and the full period will get over and after the period the full class would cheer for me that i skip'd the full class. but i was genuinely just having a great conversation, but next day teacher would just be like i know what you did there, but no i was just showing off my superior knowledge which no one else in the class could understand. I hate that i was in trouble so many times for being blamed for something i never did, or when my credit was stolen by someone else but i never made a buzz about it, i knew no one will believe me if ill tell the truth just because i was a sports kid. But today ill say thank you to all those who gave me a hard time, hope you are doing good too take care.

Some kids literally physically fought in my 6th grade language arts class before the teacher came in! I yelled at them, even if I am just another student.
I’m in college and the public speaking class I took had these five guys that would be in the back talking or saying stupid/funny stuff (but still did all their speeches and listened to lectures). I was seated around them so I would talk to them mostly throughout the semester and we would have a laugh. The professor referred them as the boy band.
