Product description:
Fonodan BJ is a product made up of two types of materials, a high-quality self-adhesive membrane
density and a chemically cross-linked polyethylene thermosealed together.
Acoustically, Fonodan BJ works by dissipating energy, by modifying the rigidity of the duct, through
the high-density membrane and being decoupled thanks to the polyethylene.
Scope:
The FONODAN BJ is specially designed to minimize the noise of the evacuation pipes in
all kinds of buildings.
In branches and elbows, double coating should be applied as they are the noisiest sectors.
Advantages and benefits:
By lining the duct, the unpleasant noises produced by the internal friction of fluids in the pipes are reduced.
downspouts, since it dampens the vibrations of the tube, obtaining an insulation of even 17 dB.
It has little thickness, making it easier to adapt to the downpipe, facilitating its installation.
Being self-adhesive, it is easier to install, obtaining greater performance in its placement.

Very good!
Today we are going to see how to isolate downspouts with this self-adhesive acoustic strip.
We will do it in a downspout where there are several joint junctions and in a simple downspout.
The surface must be dry and clean.
To work comfortably with it, we cut pieces between 80cm and 1m.
In wall downspouts we can cut it just to the length of the downspout.
We separate the non-stick plastic.
In this section we make a notch so that it passes through the junction.
We place it and press from the center to one side and then to the other so that it is mounted on the glued side at least 3cm.
For reasons of safety and durability, we put some flanges.
When placing the next section, an overlap of at least 3cm must be made.
Here we match the flanges where one piece overlaps the other.

Descripción del producto:
El Fonodan BJ es un producto compuesto por dos tipos de materiales, una membrana autoadhesiva de alta
densidad y un polietileno químicamente reticulado termosoldados entre sí.
Acústicamente, el Fonodan BJ funciona disipando la energía, al modificar la rigidez del ducto, a través de
la membrana de alta densidad y al quedar desacoplado gracias al polietileno.
Campo de aplicación:
El FONODAN BJ está especialmente diseñado para minimizar los ruidos de las tuberías de evacuación en
todo tipo de edificios.
En ramales y codos, se debe aplicar doble revestimiento por ser los sectores más ruidosos.
Ventajas y beneficios:
Al revestir el ducto se disminuyen los ruidos desagradables que produce el roce interno de fluidos en las
bajantes, ya que amortigua las vibraciones del tubo, obteniendo una aislación de incluso 17 dB.
Tiene poco espesor, haciendo que se adapte más fácilmente al tubo bajante, facilitando su puesta en obra.
Al ser autoadhesivo es más fácil de instalar, obteniendo un mayor rendimiento en su colocación.
Que fácil lo pones, estoy en una obra grande, con muchos entronques y codos 45 ,me hice unas plantillas, pero me entretengo mucho para no dejar arrugas marcando el tubo y quitando la protección de film del abdesivo, cuando lo meto sobretodo en espacios muy pegados a la pared o entreforjados el adhesivo es tan fuerte que se pega arrugado y se despega mal del tubo y de las manos rompiéndose, lo coloco quitando la protección del abdesivo según voy avanzando,
Hola gran vídeo. Una pregunta, he tenido el producto en las manos y huele muy fuerte, lleva asfalto, tengo pensado ponerlo en una bajante interior que tengo en la cocina que irá tapada con una placa de yeso sin mas ¿no es demasiado desagradable el olor?
En mi caso, la tubería va a ir encerrada en un canjeado con pladur. ¿No tiene un olor demasiado fuerte? Gracias por darme vuestra experiencia.
El olor luego no se nota por lo menos en las que tengo echo.

Acabo de comprar el aislante pero la bajante la tengo apoyando en uno de los costados en espuma de poliuretano, me recomiendas quitar la espuma, recubrir el tubo entero y luego volver a echarlo o directamente lo cubro hasta donde me deje?

Yo lo haría, ya que la espuma de poliuretano puede ser un buen aislante térmico, pero es pésima acústicamente hablando, creando casi un efecto "tambor" que puede incluso amplificar algo el sonido al tener tanto aire dentro y una densidad tan elevada.. Si buscas aislar acústicamente...
