Honest Opinion: Lloyd was used only because he was the green ninja. Otherwise he would of just been cast out like Morro. Think about it like this: Morro was brought in because Wu thought he would be the green ninja and put him through training for him to become the green ninja, so what would of happened if Lloyd wasn’t chosen?
I mean he is garmadons son if wu cares bout his brother he wouldn’t throw his son out into nowhere and plus he cares bout Lloyd too but of course he was happy he found the green ninja since he had been looking for the green ninja for a long time
mm, but Wu welcomed Lloyd even before they knew he was the green ninja, going so far as to fetch Garmadon to help rescue Lloyd when he got snakenapped. I daresay Lloyd would've still been on the team, green or no green. As for Morro, he was brought in because he was a kid digging through Wu's trash. Wu did not discover that he was Master of Wind until *after* taking him in. And honestly, thinking that Wind was Green makes more sense when you think about it being a Wild element Wu had yet to encounter. And if you're going to complain about Wu not telling them anything, A: he's *thousands* of years old, do you really want him to tell them about alllll of the beings he fought and crises he survived over all those years? and B: he's not about to trauma dump all over his students

Ok (my time to shine) Lloyd’s Grandfather was blonde and blonde hair can skip a generation if the spouse has brown hair. So Garmadon has a brown hair gene (of course) but also a blonde hair gene that is not obvious therefore Lloyd got the blonde hair gene and it was dominant. I know that this probs won’t make sense Google says this: Since you have two copies of each gene, that means the only way to have a recessive feature like blond hair is for both of them to be the recessive allele. Having one of each will leave your hair brown, even though you'll secretly be carrying the blond allele in every cell of your body. (The two copies are from parents + grandparents etc)
There is a high chance that Garmadon carried a recessive trait for blonde hair from the FSM meaning that Lloyd HAD a higher likelihood of being a brunette. However the recessive blonde hair trait that Garmadon has is the dominant trait for Lloyd as it was for his grandfather.
