I actually made one like this for my garden tractor. I'm still needing to redo my 2inch receiver I made up for it. First try was way to far out and bows down when getting pulled. My Case 222 repowered isn't 4wd but with ags it really does a great job hooking into the ground and pulling.
Hi Josh - I just did a bolt-on Amazon special on my x739 with no modifications necessary. I used the Curt model 45006 ATV 2" receiver. The large bolt fits in one of 3 holes on the x739 and the small threaded hole fits in another. I mounted mine the furthest inboard on the notch and the middle hole and it works great. Also added a 3-in-1 Heavy hitch with a ball, hole, and hook. Thought I'd share my find! Can send pics if you want to see.. oh forgot to mention it was 33 dollars...
I had to go this route because of the quick bracket on the back I use for the bagger takes up the holes for the heavy hitch model and needed an alternative. I found this video helpful but after I already mounted the Curt. With the 3-in-1 it extends the trailer mounting hole past the weight bracket I have also, which worked very well even with the bagger on. Hope this helps someone looking and doesn't have a drill press, etc
Hmmm… not sure how I’d do that… Deere doesn’t give tow ratings to these things, and all they say is don’t tow more than what the tractor weighs. Realistically though if you throw the front weight bracket on, 9 42lb weights, 4 50lb wheel weights, you are looking at 1600-1700lbs, and I can assure you this tractor can pull waaaaay more than that. The bigger thing to worry about is tongue weight. Don’t want to overload the transaxle.
LP47913, I think it fits great, it is the Factory Deere one and since it is 2 piece, it fits better than 1 piece covers. Plus’s it has multiple pockets to store whatever items you may need.

Love your tractor!!!
Thanks!
Great idea Josh! Happy 2024!.🍻

Do you have a video on how you added the hydraulic connectors in the back of the tractor?
Would you be able to do a video on the towing capacity for the X758? I have not been able to find one.

I just bought a 2023 X758 with AWD towing capacity is 1,200 pounds. It was in my Owners Manual.
What section was it under? I wonder if there was a revision? I don’t recall seeing it in mine…
Any plans on restoring the 210
Not really, its in really good shape. Id really like to restore a tractor, but also I don't know that Id let myself buy a junky tractor...
Hey Josh, do you have the part number for your JD seat cover? I know some of those seat covers don’t fit just right. Does yours fit good? Thanks

@@JoshsGreenGarage Thanks for the part number on the seat cover. 👍🏼
