Same could fina anything on how to handle accordion please with a circle skirt pattern. I'm going to have to do a floor length skirt with a full 2" V at the bottom but At least that will be the only hair pulling I'll be doing. lol
Wow!! That skirt came out beautifully. I was wondering how a side seam could be sewn and not show up all rumply and now I know how to do that! The color is so pretty and looks great on you. Thanks for sharing.
Just a quick question about the hem. The hem is not straight and i noticed that on the pleating video as well. Is that because you pre hemmed the skirt before pleating?
This is so beautiful!!!! Thanks for doing this 💖 Please can you make a video on how to make a pant/trousers with pleated fabric like this. Looking forward to that. Thanks in advance.
The colour is gorgeous. I am definitely going to find a pleater company here in Atlanta ga.......to get some fabric pleated for several skirts! The skirt looks fabulous. 🥰
You tutorials are so perfect. I’ve been following you for years . Can you please make a video to show how to measure the skirt size before the pleats were made
Hi Priscilla, I asked this question in the making of the pleats video but didn't get a response from You. Please how do i go about cutting this in a straight pre-pleated fabric and how do i hem the tips so it doesn't affect the pleats at the bottom? I look forward to your response, I love the finished look. Thanks for sharing
Hi love your videos a lot l am a big fan thank you the video on an accordion skirt l was struggle how to cut and sew How do you finish the hem my accordion fabric l have to finish the. hem my is shear fabrics Thank you so much
The skirt is really nice and enjoyed the video on the pleating process. Love the rich dark green. Question...did u not use any interfacing or a stiffener lining of any kind? I really think that waistband needed it. Otherwise its just going slide down and bunch up with wear and wouldnt be the best look. With the very crisp and structure of the beautiful pleats a crisp structured waistband would be in order. Just a thought mine you not a criticism.😊
Wow I love this skirt... and the pleating process as well.. so prettyyy!! love the color! I would like one for myself.. but I prefer midi length.. just above ankle for me.. ( am tall) too much leg haaa
Hello i really love the skirt it came out so well i just came across ur Channel today and am a new subscriber so happy to have met you. Please just a quick question is it possible to cut a full or half circle flare skirt on fabric that has already been pleated and if yes how many meters will i need??
The subtitles said you are a ninja and women's wear designer😂 I had to turn on the sound to see if that's really what you said Fascinating videos, by the way.
I love love you.. I want to be like you when I grow up you inspire me 🥰❤️ your videos inspired me to post a video on how to make an A line skirt smile thank you 🥺🥺🥰🥰
Hola soy de cdmx México te mando muchas felicitaciones disculpa le hiciste el dobladillo antes de llevarlo a que te hicieran el plisado mil gracias por tu atención ❤️
Really beautiful skirt. Sorry about the irrelevant question, but what is a good alternative for the overlock machine? Can some technique produce the same result?
How to make the pleat in fabric...? And how to permanent the pleat in manually... Please tell me how... Thankyou iam from Indonesia... I hope you stay healthy all
Thnx 🙈❤ I want to make like this. How many meters help me to make it? And the circle skirt that you suggested. This is i should use to cut the fabric when i need to make skirt like a video or use the normal fabric 2 meter whithout using any shape when i cut it? Do you understand me 😅?
I use about three metres my skirt. What I did was cut a full circle skirt with had a waist measurement with two inches extra(for the side seams which is where your zip will sit). Then I divided my skirt into two because the pleat studio can’t pleat a full circle skirt in one go. The studio recommends polyester fabrics if you want permanent pleats that will last after washing and all.
Thanks Kim for the tutorial. Your skirt is lovely. Can't wait to make mine. Do you stretch out the pleats at the waist region while transfering the pattern to fabric? Thanks
@@KimDave so you cut your waistline as if your fabric wasn’t pleated, is that right? I’d like to cut mine and I’m not sure if I have to add any extra inches before sending the fabric to be pleated. Thanks!
In the previous video she talked about, the man said polyesters are better for pleating. You can use other fabrics though. Its just a matter of the longevity I believe.
Hi Kim, I don't usually comment but always watch when you upload. I must say you give all the necessary inside information which most will decline to give. I wondered the same and here again willingly gave the answer. Many thanks and many more subscribers to the millions. Am actually going to subscribe after this comment. All the best.
The skirt construction is finally here!!
Watch to see how I put together the pre-pleated circle skirt.
Mam please ask me which fabric use made by pleated circle skirt?
i realize I'm quite randomly asking but do anyone know of a good website to stream new movies online?
I’VE BEEN LOOKING FOR A TUTORIAL LIKE THIS IN AGES!!! Thank you so much! You’re a Godsend!
Same could fina anything on how to handle accordion please with a circle skirt pattern. I'm going to have to do a floor length skirt with a full 2" V at the bottom but At least that will be the only hair pulling I'll be doing. lol

WOW that skirt in that colour looks so beautiful❤️
I'm literally obsessed with the colour myself. So lush!
Just a quick question about the hem. The hem is not straight and i noticed that on the pleating video as well. Is that because you pre hemmed the skirt before pleating?
The bloke suggested a pin hem because it works with the pleats better so that’ll probably be why
I was like woooow during the pleating tour and finally the stitching😉💪
Thanks Kim Dave for always inspiring us.
Oh the skirt looks so beautiful on you!
This is so beautiful!!!!
Thanks for doing this 💖
Please can you make a video on how to make a pant/trousers with pleated fabric like this. Looking forward to that.

What if you are working with already pleated material?
Hi Kim Love your fashions and great personality as well as teaching skills. Just curious why didnt you add waistband interfacing or stabilizer ?
Thank you
the skirt fabric is thick so I didn't think it was necessary
@@KimDave thank you for responding wish you well with your career
Beautiful... What fabric type is this
It’s duchess satin 😃
It’s duchess satin 😃
Really beautiful skirt. Sorry about the irrelevant question, but what is a good alternative for the overlock machine? Can some technique produce the same result?
you can use a zig zag stitch along the seam allowance
@@KimDave Thank you, I'm having a hard time doing it though.
@@koh8614 there is something called an overcast foot for a regular sewing machine that can help. Won't be as good a serger but it helps.

Hi Kim, is the fabric silk?
The pleats on the bottom of my skirt have come undone how to I repleat it??
Hi Kim , did you add zipper allowance at the back?
It has a zip allowance on the side
Awww am in loveee with that skirt,so beautiful. Is there a perfect fabric to make pleats skirts, I don't know if it would be good on Ankara fabric 🤗
In the previous video she talked about, the man said polyesters are better for pleating. You can use other fabrics though. Its just a matter of the longevity I believe.
Did you have to make t
He circle skirt pattern larger to accommodate the Sunday pleats or did you use your regular measurements.
I used regular measurements to create the circle skirt, I just made the waistline larger(by 1-2 inches) to accommodate the seam allowance

Can we get the paper pattern for the Sunray pleats and Can we create these pleats at home by using regular equipment ?
You can use thick craft paper to create the pattern at home but for the heating unit, I can't think of an alternative
@@KimDave yes exactly.. As per my knowledge We need high steam for that.Anyway Thanks
Love it
Hi Kim, can you please tell me what is your fabric composition ??, thank you
it's 100% polyester
