You can also see a shape that is a picture of Death's character in each of the corners of the 8 cards shown after each of Puss' deaths in the doctor's office

Had Puss died, him and Kitty would have not fixed their broken relationship. Had Puss died, his friends in Far Far Away would mourn him also. The quote perfectly conveys the whole story, which makes this Easter egg even more deep.
