They have an aborted album from back then called Scalping The Guru, lotta hardcore fans probably got really excited when they saw this announced only to find out it's a compilation. Don't get me wrong, this is an amazing compilation of classic 90s GbV songs that a lot of people haven't probably even heard & even fewer have their hands on physically. And a number of the tracks may have been considered for StG back in the 90s. I'm about to look up the track list that's floating around online & compare.

From gbvdb- "This was the working version of Alien Lanes, and every song on here ended up on Alien Lanes except "Lariat Man", which was released as the b-side of Bevil Web's "Minutemen" single, and the acoustic "Motor Away", which isn't on any GBV release or any other rarities tape."
