What's so weird to me is how there are in a lot of the species groups, villagers designed to look like completely different species. For example, a villager in the "ostrich" group designed to look like a flamingo. There are a bunch of different examples.

There’s 4 octopi. And I’m not referring to Cephalobot because this is outdated. But at the time of this video Inkwell existed. Inkwell is a Splatoon themed octopus villager who was added in the welcome Amiibo update to new leaf on 3DS. All thought now there are 5 because of Cephalobot.
My favorite species is 🐧 penguins due 2 how adorbs they are! :) My fav penguin villager is roald (i think that's his name btw his blue feather color tone reminds me of Pablo from the backyardigans :))
I have Pango; she’s an anteater and at first I hated her but when talking to her I grew to like her and now she’s my favorite! Edit: I have also had Antonio and I love him too.. I was devastated when he wanted to move away but I let him go
For me.i feel like depending on how they respond to the player makes me feel like a high or low class An example is if the animal Villager is very sassy that Gets a low tier in my book (well if from the player prospective other than. That yeah... Also. Sorry for long typing)
I know I’m late, but here’s my unpopular favorite species. I love anteaters and elephants. Oh, and robin is the fricking bird of satan and can die with a slow and painful death. That’s just my opinion though!
I give 75 hecks bout' coco cats dogs sheep merengue some bears some birds ducks and penguins some alligators horses and some cubs but zipper anteaters hippos lions frogs marshal gorillas jitters and the bulls and cows and apple and julian could be hit with an axe and i wouldnt care (im not naming all my favs o_O)

@@vickijohnston4344 i am bored so im going to continure your list. tucker is a mamoth, pheobe is a phenix, annabelle is an armadillo, leonardo is a leopard , hopper is an emperor penguin, spronket riboot and del are robots, drago is a dragon, savana is a zebra, Al is a yeti, Boone is a baboone, Gruff is like a zombie, Rudy and erik are reindeer, and as you mentioned, audie is a fox, Flora is a flamingo, and julian is a unicorn. Lol that was a lot.
I think having the long ears and diverse mouth and nose shape was an interesting design choice, but it paid off. It made cats have their own look as tiny ears would look kinda weird
My favorite species are the wolves. Once you get one, it feels like they’ve accepted you into their pack, which I think is super cool. There also aren’t any designs that I don’t like, each feels incredibly unique, and like a lot of effort has been put in! My favorite has to be Dobie. I find it so funny that he’s and old man disguised and such a fierce creature. I don’t have him on my island, but I think he’s be a lot of fun.
