The STRUGGLE is real... While Erik seems to be convincing Yeng sounded really pitchy, and you can tell that the key is beyond her range. maybe listening to this will be a lot easier than watching. because it is very evident how Yeng made it look too difficult for her. Maganda in a way yes pwede na. but is this better than the original? No, Did it sound extra or special? No it sounded too ordinary. Did it made a difference? In a way yes... It sounded like a pop lite rock.
Yeng's strength is producing a pop lite rock songs, i guess she should focus there. Erik well he is a balladeer so this type of song is easy for him.

@@carrylherrera3419 i actually made a comment on Shallow and i said magaling and loved it. Even though it is post produced and they are more on acting their voices on the video. This one is also post produced but for some reasons again the struggle is really evident. and we're not just talking about range her but the total musicality. She is pitchy here and the notes here
especially the higher ones are not well supported. So if you'll just whine about range eh my dear there is more than "range" in musicality
Hahaha Maglalabasan na naman mga magagaling sa music dito. Sino ba kasi nagsabi na mataas boses ni Yeng. Never nya sinabing mataas ang boses nya. Hindi naman kasi kasing taas ng boses ni Yeng ang boses ni Regine o ni Morissette. I think you have no right to say na mag focus na lang si Yeng sa sinasabi mong strength nya na producing a pop lite rock songs. Almost all artists nag eexplore ng ibat ibang genre at hindi nagfo focus sa isa lang. Sisihin mo kung sino namili ng kanta na to para i duet nila dahil masyado lang mataas para sa range ng boses ni Yeng. It's just a wrong song choice. Kita mo naman yung Shallow duet nila, ang galing ni Yeng and sobra syang napuri sa mga comments..even ibang foreign reactors napa wow sa galing nya dun. Wrong song choice lang yan dear. Hindi yung parang hinusgahan mo agad yung pagiging singer nya at buong musicality and artistry nya sa comment mo. It's just one duet. Hindi madi define ng isang duet lang ang galing ni Yeng. Even sa kahit sino pang magagaling at batikang singers dyan o biritera nangyayari din yan. 😉😉
@@jennycorpuz6765 last time i checked someone else brought Shallow here while I'm only pointing out that Yeng is STRUGGLING in this song. no one said she didnt do good in Shallow. The point is she did struggle in this song... and I'll give it to you wrong choice of song indeed. or perhaps hinde well rehearse. cause mas mahirap yung Shallow compared sa song na to in terms of technicalities. While Erik did a good job with both songs Yeng didnt give justice with this one. :)
