Another challenge they had is the front end not generating enough grip in mid corners. While trying to compensate in these areas, remember teams like Mercedes an and red bull are not standing still

Maybe Andy Cowell wants a totally different engineering challenge and develops road car engines in the future. The question now is when will all this affect the team and stop their winning streak? The next two seasons gives Hamilton a great opportunity to beat Schumacher's record as they will use the same car, then the new car for 2022 comes in will Mercedes slip up then only time will tell.

When dominant teams are run by professional managers, rather than mercurial loners, they build in redundancy. Toto will have planned for his own departure, and the same for every key employee. That’s wha great managers do. If Lewis leaves, every driver on the grid would kill to take his seat. Verstappen, Ocon, Russell, etc. etc.. I don’t think Lewis is ready to walk away, and 2020 is not a REAL year, so the industry has delayed 2021 changes for a year. I think that freezes all moves for most industry players.
