    Twisters are better. Extruded frame, better wheels and bearings. Looks much cooler too

    I have the edge 110’s and just bought the next 125’s. The next run about a size too large for my foot. They’re a beautiful skate in the brown, unfortunately they’re too big. I’m returning for the maxxum edges but if a smaller size next was available, I’d definitely get them because they’re incredibly smooth and quick

    There is an easy way to fix the pressure point issue of these plastic sheld skate boot: get a Dremel rotary tool to erase some material from the inner surface of the boots, The wall of the front end of these boots can be as thick as 6-7 mm, you can safely remove 2-3 mm without compromising the integrity of the boots, and that usually enough to fix any pressure point.
    The twisted edge has a 165 mm frame mount, which is standard in "inline skate industry", you can buy any frame from other brands (seba, flying edgle) and install it on the boots. On the powerslide trinity side, you are stuck with trinity frames, which are crazily over-priced.

    • @ericbernardi8116
      @ericbernardi8116 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      PS got some "Elite" frames for about 60 bucks, don't know where this is over-priced... And you get a stock heat moldable liner for less money, so no need for messing with the boot or buy an extra liner... RB makes fun but overpriced skates and you got to be lucky to fit their skates or you'll get pressure points (try to cure my ankle pain for about a month now)... I have to admit though that RB boots seems to be a bit more supportive for bigger wheels... but with an after market liner to release pressure points it will cost like twice of a PS skate... So the biggest plus for RB imo is their Hydrogen wheels which seem to be unmatched!

    • @kenmastersmaster
      @kenmastersmaster 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Lolol 7mm plastic????? Don't listen to this guy. Never dremel your boot. The edges are heat moldable so start with that

  • @ComfyDadShoes

    I’m paranoid my hydrogen wheels on my twisters are grinding down too fast. I’m ngl, I am already curious about the next 125’s

    I think the Rollerblade has a higher price because of the hydrogen wheels that are way superior than Spinner wheels of Powerslide.
    This 110 Next should also come with Undercover wheels like the 125mm version comes.

      @Spiritof38Productions  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I agree. Also the frame on the RB is extruded compared to the casted one on the Next. But the thing for me is that the fit and ride of the Next is more comfortable than the Edge

      I own both and got a blister from my edges. That said, once they break in, they’re amazing. Don’t give up on the edges. Ideally, the next is good for long cruises. The twisters are durable like a tank. Definitely more maneuverable too

    I just got the next two or three weeks ago and one thing I will say. They aren't nearly as good looking as twister. I saw twister in the store and was a absolutely floored at how cool they looked. I was honestly expecting the next to be a little better looking than they ended up being. As to quality, performance, comfort etc. not going to comment yet I've only just gotten them.

    Thank you for this!
    I've got a pair of Seba FR's with 80mm wheels (slalom skates) and am about to get a pair of Tri-skates, so sick and tired of vibrations and much lower speed than I had with my older K2 boots. Though the Seba are much more maneuverable and I love them for that, they're just not much fun for city skating and longer faster runs with mixed maneuverability and tricks. This review really helps as I am considering these two exact models. Or was until I heard all your Pros regarding the Powerslide.

      Depends on the skate you have, if it is a Powerslide Trinity Mount then you can buy any of the Powerslide Trinity Frames that support 3 wheels. If it is a Rollerblade Brand skate then you could buy the Rollerblade 3WD Frame. If it is a UFS skate you could buy the Kizer Trimax or the Ground Control 3 Wheel Frame.
